I’m a huge fan of the Kiwi Seed Eye Cream so was excited to try this. It’s fragrance free which is rare for an Antipodes product and I appreciate it because I do have sensitive eyes. The jar feels lovely and luxurious as its glass and larger than many other eye creams. It feels very similar to the Kiwi Seed cream but definitely brightens a lot more. I have definitely noticed an increase in hydration to my under eyes and I really do struggle with dry under eyes. Unfortunately I have tried to blend concealer over it and it’s quite difficult. It will blend out eventually but ends up looking patchy. I didn’t notice this with the Kiwi Seed one so maybe it’s the gold in this formula. I would purchase this again but probably only for days when I’m not wearing makeup or to use at night.
Tips: Great for brightening on no makeup days
Its a lovely light weight eye cream, the gold colour instantly hides tired eyes even without make-up.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
I like this eye cream, it is non greasy and sinks into delicate skin around eyes leaving fine lines plumped and skin hydrated. Think good for under makeup or at bedtime. I am not sure the odd gold flakes that end up on your skin contribute to the “luminosity” I tend to pick them off. Would love it in a tube too, I don’t love having to get out of a pot, I tend to end up with too much on my finger
Currently my fave eye cream - makes my eye area feel soothed and hydrated, the cream is a goldy beige colour which I think helps cancel out some of purple hues around my eyes. I was hoping this wouldn’t be sparkly or iridescent from the added mica and gold flakes but I don’t notice it at all to be honest. This one is fragrance-free which is nice as I don’t think that’s needed in an eye cream so it’s also suitable for sensitive skin. Again with most Antipodes products it pays to shop around as you can find it for as low as $35 some places, where as it’s $75 on Antipodes website currently, the jar is small (and gorgeous) but remembering you don’t use much product 30mls actually lasts a long time. I’ll definitely repurchase this one.
