One thing I really like about Evolu skincare besides being natural and non-irritating is that the products are so light and easily absorbed. I've used this day cream both in cooler weather and in summer and it's suited when my skin was more oily combination without making my skin feel hot and greasy and during winter it's been a nice extra layer of moisture under my spf moisturizer. Now unfortunately I haven't really seen any anti-ageing results for the high price tag. I do like that I my skin is nice a moisturized and it sits well under makeup. I am currently spending lots of time outside and any extra antioxidants are needed. Now if I hadn't gotten this in a Beauty Box I don't think I would've purchased it and due to the high price tag I don't think I will purchase this when I finish it. However I don't use very much each time I apply so I see myself getting months of use out of it.

Tips: You can use this at night especially during the summer but if you use this during the day don't forget to apply spf.
I received this in a BBBE. It's made in NZ states it contains no nasty chemicals and is cruelty free only containing bees.
The moisturiser comes in a tube and is a descent size of 75mls. Its easy to squeeze the right amount of product out as the cream isn't too runny. It is a very light weight, non greasy cream which does absorb very quicky and has a lovely silky feel once on your skin. I didn't like the scent which smells a bit like kiwifruit but it didn't linger around on my skin so not a problem. Other then feeling nice on my skin and not causing any increased sensitivity. I didn't see any advantage of using this cream over my Trilogy sensitive moisturiser as I didnt really notice any difference in my overall skin texture or any visible improvement in fine lines which this cream says it helps with. I also didnt find this particularly hydrating so not a cream I could use in Winter.
I think the price of $63 is a bit much and would not repurchase.
I was flicking through the FlyBuys catalog trying to find something I could afford with the little points I had and I came across this product. I bought it as I am always looking for natural and organic skin products to try. I must admit my expectations weren't more than average, but after 10 days or so i started noticing that my skin felt great and had improved its tone and elasticity! i have used it as a base for makeup mainly and it works perfectly since it dries quickly and leaves the skin nourished without being greasy. I just loved it. I would highly recommend.
Tips: Perfect every day moisturizer, quickly absorbed, lovely fragrance.
Lucky me got this in the NZ made Best Beauty Box. I love love trying NZ made products, I feel we have a great natural beauty industry here which is uniquely and proudly ours. I am happy to spend a little more to support our beauty industry. Have to admit as I am getting older (45 yrs here) I am not responding to the more mass produced products as I used to and actually big brands can irritate me
Positives are a 75ml tube, not offensive and nice subtle fragrance, good for under makeup, easily absorbed and no annoying residue. Screw cap avoids finger dipping into a pot, plastic tube is recyclable. No nasties or testing on animals keeps me feeling good about product.
$63 is a little on the high side, would buy again seeing its a great all round cream, no SPF prevents it being drying but have to admit SPF is handy.
Find it to be quite calming, would recommend to sensitive skin.
Like how I can buy direct from Evolu direct.
Tips: Good for day or night, after serum or not.
This cream is my favourite day cream! It smells beautiful and makes my skin feel lovely and soft. I've used it daily for the last month, and sometimes at night too (I can't help it, it's my favourite cream!). I feel like my skin has benefited from this cream - it feels stronger and more supple. My skin is generally on the dry side so I am always on the hunt for a moisturising day cream that is lightweight so it doesn't make me look shiny
The only downside is that it doesn't have any SPF in it, so you do need to apply a sunscreen as well.
Tips: Remember to apply a sunscreen as well, so you don't get sunburnt!
You can use this one at night too. I often apply it after a serum.
I was surprised how nourishing this cream is despite how light it feels applying it. With being in my 40's any 'age' focused product usually focuses on a heavy nourishing cream that takes ages to absorb.
This Evolu moisturiser is the complete opposite - it's light, absorbs easily, but keeps my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day.
It sits so well under makeup - with or without a primer. You don't need much as it applies so easily, so while it is pricey I do think it lasts better, and performs better than others similarly priced.
Love that it doesn't have a scent. Nice and simple packaging. Suitable for day or night. The lack of SPF doesn't bother me as I tend to prefer separating my SPF from my skin care routine
