This is a caramel colour in the normal Lush bottle but it doesn't smell that way. The first ingredient in this is honey, which explains the colour. The gel itself is a foamy dream once on the loofah and being scrubbed on your body. It cleans well and is a nice viscosity for a gel.
The smell itself is exotic floral and not sweet. The smell I find is off putting and it does interfer with which ever perfume I choose for the day. My shower holds onto the scent from this more than any other shower gel I have used. The bottle says you can use this to wash your hair, I tried once and felt it stripped my hair of everything thank goodness for conditioner, the smell hangs around your hair then rather than just your body.
I would skip buying this again and the scent is the reason. Some people like scents from shower gels to hang around but this is like bathing in perfume for me.
I have made it my life long ambition to try all of the Lush shower gels. So far I havent had one I didnt love.
I bought this one in the 100ml bottle for $14.50. We all know this is not the cheapest shower gel on the market but when you weigh up, what Lush stands for I feel it is well worth it.
This comes in the usual Lush shower gel bottle, dark brown with a flip top lid. The lid stays shut very well so if you happen to drop the bottle, rest assured you will not loose a drop of your gorgeous gel. In saying that, it can be a bit tricky to open when you have wet shower hands.
The colour is a beautiful honey/caramel. The texture is rich and creamy. I use a shower puff and you really dont need a lot of shower gel to have a good wash.
The scent of this is nice. There is jasmine and ylang ylang, such a nice combination. I dont believe it tames an angry woman.
My showers always feel a bit more special when using Lush products.
Tips: If you havent tried Lush products yet, dont wait too much longer.
