Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash

I was able to get this in a free sample by neutrogena. It came in a cute mini travel size. Which I love because I use this when im away from home so I dont have to carry but big one around. This oil free acne wash is so great. It helped clear my acne away as I get spots every now and again, and because my skin is oily is work well to help protect my skin.

The product is easy to use. You wet your face then apply a small amount of the product into your hands and rub the product onto your face. Massage in it till you think the product has cleared all the dirt away and the any left over dead skin, then rinse.

This product is great and it easy to find in supermarkets, pharmacies etc. Personally I will buy this product when it is on special or feeling I want to change up my products.

I use this twice everyday, it makes my skin feel smooth and look clean and clear. I would recommend to anyone who has a combination of oily to dry skin- this definitely works. I have sensitive skin as well, and it doesnt react or irritate my skin.

I found this really helped my breakouts clear up quickly. I wouldn't recommend using it every day maybe every second day or less often depending on the severity of you acne or breakouts. You don't want to overuse it as it is quite drying so make sure to moisturize after using it. It doesn't smell great which is a bit disappointing but it's an acne face wash and they often don't smell the best. Definitely more suited to those with super oily skin and more severe breakouts.

I have used this on and off over the past couple of years (yes, it might have past its best before date but I didnt realise they had them until reading it on BR!). I certainly can help with a breakout but if you do not have super oily skin it will be very drying. I think my skin is drying out as I get older and so I am noticing that this face wash is now drying out my skin to the point where it is so tight it feels like its going to split :( No amount of night cream can sooth it either. Hence, I will not be using it anymore, but I did find that it would stop a breakout in its tracks, and does leave my skin feeling deep clean.

I used to use this product all of the time when I was younger and found it to be fantastic. I wouldn't use it any more as I am older now so I don't have a oily skin type like I had as a teenager and in my early 20's but I would recommend it for someone with a true oily acne prone skin.

After my first use of the product my face broke out in a rash that lasted 2 days as I found out it contained salicylic acid which my sisters are also allergic to

I have tried this a couple of times when I have had breakouts, but stopped using it as it is very very drying. Leaves my skin feeling very tight and irritated and a bit itchy. I think it is much better to use a spot treatment or wait the breakout out instead of using this on your whole face.

After using a sample once it left my skin extermely dry, to the point thst I had horrible harsh dry patches that took over a week of treatment to get rid of and has left my skin really sensitive. Would not recommend this to anyone, I was throughly disappointed as this is a highly acclaimed brand and was looking forward to trying this

I used to use this face wash when i was a lot younger for my acne i worked pretty good, i received a sample recently but after i had used it my face felt tight and was really dry the ingredients in this face wash irritated my skin as well.

I got a sample of this to try- I normally like Neutrogena products, so was hoping this would be a great product. But no, it was very strong and after washing my face with this it felt very tight and uncomfortable. It also slightly irritated my face, definitely not a good product for those with sensitive skin.
