NIVEA Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash Review

I won this product in a prize pack so firstly Thank You Nivea.

Ok, so I have been using this facial wash in between my regular scrub (which can be drying with overuse). Now firstly the colour screams fresh skin... the smell, well [face scrunch] it's a bit too floral for me and it is still recognisable as Nivea scent... just a tad lighter (some Nivea products I just can not use due to the scent putting me off but this one I can tolerate a bit easier).

I have used this for a while now to give it a fair go and I will say that it is by far my least favorite cleaning product but it still cleanses... just not as well as others I have used.

It doesn't lather much, it does leave my face clean(ish)... it just takes a bit more effort to get there. The rinse off can take a bit longer as it feels a bit slimy and if not washed off properly I find it causes my skin to tighten and itch.

All is not lost though as I have found it great to remove hair colour staining from the forehead area etc.

This cleanser has proved to be better than I expected. I have combination skin that is usually in the oily side but it has been dry recently and was on the dry side when I started using this cleanser. That is why I decided to pick up the cleanser for "normal" skin. This cleanser is very gentle to use and kind to your skin. You can definitely use this on a daily basis without it being too harsh on your skin. I have sensitive skin and didn't have any problems or reactions to this product. This cleanser cleaned my face well, making it feel fresh, but was not too harsh on my skin and didn't dry it out. My skin felt soft and supple afterwards. I like how this cleanser contains vitamin e to hydrate and moisturise your skin at the same time.

This cleanser has a pale blue gel consistency that lathers and foams easily when applied to your wet face. You don't actually need a lot of product, less than I expected. I only use about half a pea size for my whole face. I picked up this cleanser on special at the supermarket. I love how affordable this product is. The tube/ bottle it comes in is easy to use and easy to squeeze to product out.

Overall I like this cleanser as it does a good job at gently cleaning my face while not drying it out too much. I would say this would be suitable for all skin types, and I would purchase this again.

Hunting for a good cleanser is a tough task, I picked this one up for around $9 as it was on special and because it was from Nivea I knew it should be good. As soon as its applied to your face it gives a soothing/calming effect to your skin. A small amount goes a long way and it gently removes your makeup without the greasiness of makeup removers or other cleansers. It leaves my face feeling refreshed, calm, and at least 5 years younger in my eyes! This would be my favourite cleanser so far.

I thought I'd give this a go after a friend suggested it. I have found this to be refreshing when I use it each morning. My skin feels soft and clean.

It was reasonable prices at new world which I am impressed about.

Only thing I'm a Lil disappointed with is it hasn't really done anything to help clear my breakouts.. but other than that it's great.

I was quite surprised at how good this gel was. I used too much at first but you only need the tiniest amount as a little goes a long way and so you get a lot of value out of it. I found this product to be very effective and my face felt refreshed and soft and smooth afterward. If you put too much on though, you need to put lots of water on to get it all off as, because it is a gel, it smears all over your face! Would definitely buy again.

So I have a very full on face washing regime in the nights and mornings so the first face wash I use to remove make up is a biggie. I bought the Nivea Daily Essentials face wash because the one I usually bought was out of stock, and I am so thankful for it! My new favourite face wash, soft, cleansing and feels like its done the job! Leaves skin feeling soft and clean and you do not have to use much! Refreshing and I love it :)

I thought this product was so nice. It had a great scent to it. It was refreshing on your skin. It worked in well into my skin. It helped clear up my acne quite a lot and was so pleasant to use. Its a really affordable product and really works. A little goes a long way with this product, so lasts such a long time.

I'm a pretty satisfied user of this product. I have oily/combination skin and find it keeps the oils at bay most the day. It's not great for removing make up, but I use it morning and night, after using makeup wipes so no biggie for me. Have repeat purchased.

It smells nice, works well as a morning cleanser or as a second step to double cleansing. It doesn’t remove makeup, so I don’t use for that. Some days it makes my oily combo skin feels tight, perhaps it’s best for summer use when my skin doesn’t feel dry.
