Olay Complete Touch of Foundation Review

I bought this product a while ago but forget that I own it amongst my busy morning schedule. However I really should be using it everyday as I want to be wearing spf to protect my skin. The product is easy to put on, and has very light coverage so it's hard to stuff up! It leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh. I'm going to leave it on my bathroom counter so I remember to use it everyday!

I got this in medium and the colour is perfect for me. Smells good and the product is a nice consistency. It does kind of congeal if that makes sense as you rub it in? But I find applying it with a beauty blender or similar stops this from happening.

I bought this thinking it might be fairly equivalent to the original Olay Touch of Foundation. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The texture was not as nice, and application was patchy. I didn't have particularly high expectations with regards to coverage, which was super light, but the unevenness meant I couldn't wear it alone. Having said that, I finished the product as it worked fine as a moisturiser underneath foundation.

I have used this product for a long time. Sometimes I use it as a base and then add extra foundation over the top. Sometimes though I just use it as it is and I find that it gives me a nice coverage for when I may not want to wear a full face of makeup. I love that it has SPF. In summer I find that I never get a burnt face. It's easy to apply and generally only 1/2 pumps will cover my whole face. I would only use it as a base or if I wanted less coverage. It's not meant to give full coverage so don't expect that.

I bought this cream once but it didn't apply that well. At first when I put it on it was fine - smelt nice, good colour, silky smooth. But as I started to rub it in it sort of became like when you exfoliate your skin - rubbing off as bits. I think maybe it was the addition of the foundation in the moisturiser that made this occur? Anyway it was strange and I stopped using it after a few attempts as it just did not go on well.
