I bought this ages ago (at Christmas) in a big pack of Dedicated to Nature products, then promptly forgot I had it – lucky find
The packaging is the same as the other Dedicated to Nature products, a brown pump bottle. It is a picture of some blackberries on the front, which is a big drawcard – I love blackberries.
The product is a moderately thick cream, and smells quite similar to other Dedicated to Nature products. I neither love nor hate the smell. It’s unusual and earthy.
The product absorbs quite quickly into my skin and leaves a soft, waxy feel on the surface that feels quite nice. I feel it is quite hydrating. It claims it s a rich blend of natural sunscreens and anti-oxidants to protect against the environment and the same time nourishing and hydrating your skin. It does feel like it nourishes and hydrates my skin. I can’t speak for the sunscreen factor because I’m not outdoors much, but my skin hasn’t gotten any darker or burnt since I’ve been using it. It says the SPF is 15.
I very much like that Dedicated to Nature products are organic and don’t have any nasties in them.
At $28 it is economical as you only need a small amount to do the job. I’ll keep on using it and I think it’s worth trying for others.
This product has many great things going for it: Made in NZ, organic, SPF included, black berries!
The smell is nice - kind of woodsy and back berry like you are there picking them yourself. Texture is medium thickness consistency and you don't need much. I like the pump, so it controls how much I get out. (less waste for me)
It is very moisturising, and even though it has SPF it is still very light, I don't get white marks on my face like other moisturisers.
Due to the small amount you use, it lasts for a long time & so is good value for money.
