When these bubbleroons came to Lush last year I grabbed a couple in each variety, as you know, I am a hoarder! This bright little macaroon shaped bath time treat was saved for one of those days when it was gloomy outside and I needed a pick me up.
Comprising of 2 circle (ish) shaped bright yellow caked bubble bar with a centre cementing them together. How you use is to crumble under the running tap as you fill the bath, being in a easily dividable shape it is great to get 2 uses out of the product but I went whole hog and crumbled both sections at once.
The bright yellow bubbleroon dissolved into the water turning it a banana colour with a mass of bubbles. It was great to soak in and left my skin feeling smooth but I just don't like the scent of this, there is a mix of banana and something musky, almost woody that wasn't clicking with me at all. Ended up giving my 2nd one to my niece when she visited.
I brought this when they brought out the new version, this one looks like a yo-yo or melting moment biscuit where the two halves are smooshed together with a cream centre.
This orange coloured bubble bar looks like it should belong in a cafe. I love this bubble bar for the fact you can easily break it in half and get 2 baths out of it. It has a very sweet citrus scent, more sweet than citrus. It's actually a hard scent to pick I can't pick what the sweet scent actually is. In the description it says it's chocolate orange but I can't smell any chocolate unfortunately.
I hold this under the running water and watch on as the bubbles start forming in the bath... Or should I say foam? It didn't really produce masses of bubbles like I usually get from lush bubble bars. Maybe it was because I only used half the bar. Anyhow it did change the colour of the bath water to a light orange colour. The scent didn't really do a lot for me while I was in the bath or really impress me overall. It didn't leave any scent after my bath either which in this case didn't really bother me. Probably wouldn't repurchase again unfortunately
