Its one of the more pricier lip balms. Would be nice if all the flavours smelt good. When I use them, I find afterwards I have a weird film and sticky feeling on my lips

Overpriced for a lip balm in my opinion. Never tried anything from the MOR range but had some money left over on a voucher from Christmas and figured why not?. I don't like having to use my fingers with these lip balms to apply them, it is very oily and soaks into the lips fast, yet only keeps them hydrated for about 20 mins. Not a fan and has a very noticeable sweet vanilla scent.
I received this lip balm in a care package one day from Rose and Thorne, as their site was down and they were apologizing to their customers with MOR products. Let me tell ya, I will keep buying their bras because of it! This came in a kit with a triple milled soap and a gorgeous turkish hand towel.
The packaging is gorgeous, and the lid screws off easily. I usually lean towards tube lip balms as I don't like putting my fingers in jars, where am I supposed to wipe the excess? My pants, that's right. So, I don't like that.
I got Marshmellow, and well... In a glossy/balmy form it's kinda terrible. I couldn't really smell it other than a bizarre plastic smell. I applied a little bit to my pout and to be honest I didn't really like the flavor either, or how it felt on my lips. It says it's hydrating but I felt like I was losing hydration by the second!
It sits on my lips, coloring them slightly paler. It's not tooooo sticky but it is still, and that's annoying and I don't like it. If I wanted hair stuck to my face I'd glue it there. So, nice brand, bit of a terrible product.
I bought the black clear one because I loved the smell but it’s all around average. It doesn’t actually do much to your lips, and it leaves a nice glossy finish for about 10 minutes. I don’t know how I’ll ever finish it.
I bought this in Blood Orange, Sorbet and Peach Nectar. Packaging is beautiful but as with all tub/jar packaging, not very hygienic since you have to dip your fingers in, etc...
First off, even though I just bought this a week ago, and the website I bought it from copied the description from the main MOR website (which said that the lip macaron had lanolin, shea butter and other goodies in it), the one I received must have been old stock because the two main ingredients were petrolatum (Vaseline) and mineral oil. In fact, it performs exactly like Vaseline, an occlusive that does not work if your lips are already dry as there is no moisture to "lock in". I believe the new formulation is in a plastic jar but I would be wary as many of the metal tin, "old" versions are floating around. In fact, I received one that had rusted around the rim and the flakes had fallen into the product.
Like I said, aside from the nice smell, this performs exactly like Vaseline, and makes my lips slightly softer, but doesn't feel like it plumps or hydrates. I might try get my hands on the new formulation to see if it does better.
Oh yes, and it was super greasy and heavy and my lips were sliding around each other. Not a pleasant feeling.
Tips: 1. Average lip balm that I plan on using as cuticle butter. 2. Add a little sugar to form a lip scrub.
Absolutely love the pretty packaging, that was the thing that attracted me into buying this product, I do love MOR products aswell, but was more for the packaging. I felt the lip balm was pretty basic, it didnt keep my lips moisturised as I always had to renew coverage from to time, not interested in buying this again
I found this product to be average, although I love the packaging and smell of the lip macarons, it didn't seem to keep my lips hydrated like other balms I have used. Also don't leave this product in your handbag on a hot day in the car, the balm turned to a liquid and went all through my handbag.
Worst lip balm ever! They have super cute packaging and smell amazing, but they dry your lips out so much! I would rather put up with my dry lips than use this
I purchased MOR Lip Macaron in Lychee Flower as treat for myself. I have tried several other MOR products including their hand cream, soaps and mini perfumes and have always loved their products because they are great quality, beautifully packaged and smell incredible. When I purchased the Lip Macaron I was expecting the same top standards as I had previously experienced, however I have been very disappointed.
Firstly the texture of the Macaron is jelly-like and I have found that it doesn't leave my lips feeling hydrated and silky, but rather it left them feeling quite greasy. My lips tended to dry out very quickly when I wore this and I had to keep re-applying.
Secondly I wanted this to be my handbag lip balm that came with me wherever my handbag goes. What I didn't realise was that the lid is not very secure even when screwed on tightly. Needless to say I wasn't very impressed when I found the lid had come off and my phone and other bit and pieces stuck in the jelly mixture.
The packaging and scent are beautiful which is typical of MOR. I had high hopes for this product but wasn't impressed at all. I would not purchase this again nor would I recommend a friend try it. Very disappointing.
It is not that bad but it isn't good at keeping your lips hydrated long enough. As well as that, the lip balm is on the pricier side of lip care but does have an excellent range of scents, though some are pretty strong.
