Argh, I wanted so badly to love Full of Grace! I'd heard endless amazing stories about this product, from it leaving skin glowing to it clearing up acne and scarring, to it even being comparable to high-end gems like Sunday Riley Good Genes. I bought it, I tried it, and — I just couldn't get past the whole rubbing-a-bar-with-your-hands-to-apply thing. It just felt unhygenic. I always use clean hands to apply facial products, but still — there was just something that felt weird about the format of this product. I couldn't trust it in terms of cleanliness. This probably sounds silly, but for this reason I've stopped using Full of Grace.
Otherwise, the scent from this product is lovely, it's easy to work into a serum and apply to the skin, and it leaves the skin feeling supple, soft, and nourished. Would recommend if you don't have qualms about the unique format.
I bought this in the Boxing Day Sales. I love natural serums and had never tried a solid serum before so bought this to try out at half price. The nice thing about this bar is that it doesn't seem to have an expiry date, that being said I would highly recommend keeping it in the fridge in summer as it will melt easily. It does melt reasonably easily in summer or if placed near a heat source, that being said I had difficulty getting it to melt on contact with my skin in winter when the consistency of the oils would've really suited my sensitized skin. It does have a nice soothing butters which moisturize sensitive or sensitized skin like mine was after using peels, I even used it around my eye area. It doesn't have a strong scent but I do detect a hint of rose. The bar lasted me awhile and the oils give a enough slip for facial massage. However, I won't repurchase this because I have used other serums which suited my skin better. Also I found this a bit greasy for summer but better suited to my skin in the winter. The problem during the winter it's like trying to spread a thick cold block of butter on your face and as it didn't melt on to my skin well enough unless I put it near a heat source and I would've liked if it could melt easier when I needed it to. I guess I had cold hands but needing to put it near the heater or have it not spread well enough to properly melt into my skin wasn't ideal for me.
Tips: Put it under warm lights, near a fireplace for a few seconds to get the butters melting. It is a bit greasy once it melts so no need to smooth the bar over your whole face just a swipe here and there. Good for facial massage.
