Carmex Lip Balm

I received this in my Goodiebox and was put off by the resemblance to Vicks Vapour Rub. However, after using it for a few days I'm officially a convert and on the cult bandwagon.

This lip balm leaves my lips so insanely soft, I don't know that I'll ever need a different lip balm. It smells like a mix of honey and menthol, which is weird but it grows on you. Even after an entire day of not using it, my lips are still really soft and moisturised because of liberal use before bed last night.

I like the way this lip balm is addicting, and the cute old-fashioned packaging. Huge recommendations from me!

The Carmex Lip Balm is a super nourishing, softening balm. I really like this product, although for several reasons I don't think I will be purchasing again.

Firstly, the packaging isn't that appealing. I'm a girly girl at heart, and for me bright red on bright yellow just doesn't quite do it. I also received the jar-style packaging of this product, and I naturally don't really like lip balms in jars.

The lip balm itself has a really nice consistency, however, and immediately feels nourishing and nurturing on your lips. It does, however, smell VERY strongly of menthol product! Was not expecting that. It also had a tingly effect on my lips, causing them to plump out considerably.

Other than that, however, this balm is long lasting and definitely helps to soften up my lips when I apply it overnight.

I love this lip balm. Its not only a great product, its easy to travel around with, tube and pottle. Although similar to the brand Blistex, I find Carmex better, as it does a better job on chapped lips and overall conditioning of the lips.

This is the best lip balm I have EVER used. I started using this when being treated for acne with isotretenoin - an acne medication with the side effect of severely drying lips and skin. Nothing else worked to relieve the pain of sore dry cracking bleeding lips exact this. It feels great and tingly when applied, and lips do not become reliant on it like other lip balms often cause. Whenever I put this on my guy mates also always love the smell!

I've been using Carmex after a stranger in the supermarket recommended I try it, and I am so grateful she did! It's the longest lasting balm I've used and it got me through winter without the dry or wind-burnt lips like I usually have. However, after using it for a few months, I've found it doesn't moisturise my lips as well as my usual Blistex balm, so I now use this as more of a repair balm than an everyday one. The tingly sensation after applying is quite odd and took me a little getting used to, and I'm not a massive fan of the scent/taste, but the texture is great and it works really quickly- my lips were noticeably less chapped within a few hours after I first applied it. I have it in the stick format which makes it super easy to carry around and use. It won't be for everyone, but I would definitely recommend you give it a go!

I really like this product, the squeezy tube is really easy to chuck in your bag, it doesn't melt on hot days and doesn't go super hard on cold days. it contains menthol which provides a nice tingly feeling once applied I use this constantly during the day as I work in an office environment with air-con. it smells sweet but isn't a overly nice smelling product but doesn't smell bad either. it provides shine on the lips which is good. not really impressed that it contains petroleum but I have still been using it anyway.

I found that this lip balm is really good when travelling in different climates, as it does a fantastic job of keeping your lips moisturised. I wouldn't use it on a day to day basis as I find stick lip balms much easier to use. Other than that its a great product.

I brought this product because a YouTube guru was saying it was her favourite lip balm. The scent/taste of it really reminds me of blistex. I have to say I really enjoy using this product and it's doing wonders for my dry lips

I received this product a monthly subscription in a jar type. It reminds me blistex. It gives me a tingly feeling when applied. This product works to moisturize your lips. I havnt used it when Ive had sunburnt lips or wind burn. But it does moisturize, however it doesnt keep them moisturized for long. It is easy to carry around and it last long time. Ive had the product for a while so it keeps well. I would buy this item if I ran out of my normal lip balm.

I love this lip balm, it keeps my lips moisturised and because of the menthol in it, it feels cooling and tingly. I know some people hate that feeling, but I love it, it makes me feel really fresh, especially in the winter, when the cold air makes the feeling even more cooling. I like this for daytime use, but if I use it overnight, I wake up in the morning with a weird residue on my lips. This happens with most lip products though, so it must just be me.
