After each usage, this eye serum left my undereye area feeling smooth and refreshed. I like how it focuses on the natural side of skin care. The only thing that annoyed me was that I had no idea when it would run out! It's fantastic that it's created in New Zealand; it's great to support the local economy. I initially obtained it in a BR vault; I'm just 26, so my under eyes aren't horrible, but I wanted to start while I was younger so they'd look better when I was older! I get puffy beneath the eyes as well, and this has helped. I would buy this as a gift and highly suggest it.

Tips: Use the smallest amount! it goes a long way.
If you want to buy an overpriced moisturizer. This is just a small version of moisturizer that they charge more for. I found that it didn't make a difference and didn't do anything. I wouldn't go out and buy this at all. I'd rather just use the moisturizer from The Ordinary.
I got this eye serum in a BBBE with the nourishing lite cream, and I have been using them together. I haven't tried many Snowberry products so I was interested to try these ones.
The eye serum comes in a plastic bottle with a big top that looks like it will be an aerosol when you take the lid off, but it is actually a plastic pump.
The product when pumped out, comes out in a nice amount for doing under my eyes. It was a mild smell similar to the rosehip/cardboard scent that I don't usually like, but which is not strong enough to be unpleasant in this product. I have been using it twice or thrice daily.
It feels soft and waxy and is non-irritating under my eyes. I like it, it's nice. It is smoothing and hydrating. It claims it will reduce the appearance of fine lines and puffiness and I agree that it meets this claim. It lacks a lot of the yicky ingredients too, which is a huge drawcard.
At $69 it is more pricey than I like to pay for an eye serum, but if I saw it on a special or with an incentive then I would probably buy it, and I do recommend it to others to try.
I received this eye serum in a Beauty Box. I had not tried anything by the brand Snowberry before, so I was curious to give this a go. The Snowberry Smoothing Eye Serum comes in a white cardboard box. On the box it says that the eye serum contains: “NO Petrochemicals, NO Propylene or Butylene, Glycols, NO Volatile alcohols, NO Artificial colours, NO Silicones, NO DEA or MEA ingredients”. It also states that it is not tested on animals, that it is New Zealand made, and that it is a carbon zero certified product. What it claims to do for the eyes is to “reduce the appearance of fine lines and eye puffiness”. The serum itself comes in a white, plastic, 15ml pump bottle with a removeable cap. The serum has a cream-like texture, with no discernible scent. It is white.
I have been using this eye serum for the past three to four months. I have applied it twice a day: in the morning and in the evening. It is very gentle and not irritating on the eyes. I have sensitive skin and sensitive eyes, so I must be extra careful regarding the creams I place on them. This did not irritate my eyes at all. On the packaging it advises against direct contact with the eyes, however I did not experience any stinging or irritation when I accidentally put the cream in my eyes. The cream absorbs into the skin quickly, and my eye area feels moisturised afterwards.
Altogether I enjoyed using this cream. It is great to find an eye cream that does not irritate my eyes. I do not generally suffer from eye puffiness, so I cannot say whether it reduced that or not. As to the other claim to reduce fine lines, my eyes do not look noticeably different over the course of the few months I have been using this. So as a moisturising eye cream it works fine, but I do not think it is amazing enough to warrant the price.
Received in CBBBE. First product i've tried from the brand. White pump top packaging for easy dispersal of product. It's called a serum but is more a cream/moisturiser consistency. No scent (bit sad about that, I like scented products) easily absorbed into eye area.
Results? I haven't noticed many. My eye area does like a bit smoother but that's about it. I don't hold out much hope for eye cream type products so not too disappointed about this. I wouldn't repurchase this as it's not worth it to me and I do have a favourite eye cream that is a third of the price.
I wouldn't say this product is a serum more of a moisturizer. The cream is white and thick for a serum. You can dispense that amount you require with the pump. It applies nicely on my skin and takes a little while to absorb. I don't need to use any eye cream on top and it does make a good base for primer and foundation. I have had more success with other serums to lesson the appearance of fine lines. Would I use this again? Yes as a moisturizer.
Tips: Dot around the eye area and wait for it to absorb, you shouldn't need an eye cream on top.
I recieved this in the Christmas Best beauty box ever. I haven't really had much to do with eye creams but I'm getting to the point that I probably need to start thinking about using something - but at the same time I'm asking myself - do eye creams even work? I think I will continue using it just because I have it but a part of me still thinks eye creams are a bit of a have. It did feel soothing, refreshing and moisturing to my tired (need about 100 hours more sleep) mum eyes and would say it reduced puffiness but I'm still skeptical about whether I will see results with this product in terms of fine lines and wrinkles with a hefty price tag. I do like that it is New Zealand made with some pretty great ingredients and I recommend it if you need something to wake your eyeballs up in the morning. The product also has quite a generous quantity in terms of eye creams.
Tips: Distribute to fingertips, lightly patting around eye area.
I was so excited to pick this up in the beauty vault as I have heard wonderful things about Snowberry. I love supporting NZ products, especially those on the natural side and who don't test on animals. As far as effectiveness goes, it lightly moisturiser but that is about it. I saw no improvement to my fine lines or bags at all. I like the light consistency though and it has lasted me a lot longer than I thought it would. A little bit disappointed given the price point but I'll probably still try the serum.
This was a bit of a disappointment compared to other products in the range. The eye cream is of a very light consistency and takes ages to absorb into your eye area. It's completely different to other eyecreams I have used in the past and I do prefer eyecreams which are a bit thicker in consistency. It claims to help target puffiness and fine lines but I can't say I noticed any difference in my eye area after using for 3months. The annoying thing about this eyecream is how much product is wasted with each pump. Even when you only press the pump halfway it dispenses too much product. I wouldn't repurchase
Tips: Try to find a tester instore to see if it's for you.
I like its subtle scent. But it didn't absorb. So I found it didn't do much. A bit disappointing. It didn't do much, but didn't do any damage.
Found this preformed poorly.
Tips: Don't buy it.
