I picked this product up from the Rewards Vault and I was quite excited to try it as I have used another Snowberry product before and really liked it.
If I'm honest, when I saw that this serum was $109, I had fairly high expectations for it.
Now don't get me wrong, it's nice. It smells good and makes my skin feel smooth. But, at $109 for a pretty small bottle of serum, I'd be expecting some pretty impressive results. I can't say there were any pretty impressive results.
Personally I think the Snowberry Youth Renewing Face Serum with eProlex should be priced around the $50 mark.
I definitely wouldn't go out and buy it for full price.
A 4ml sample of Snowberry Intensive Renewal Face Serum was the Day 1 gift in a 2017 Beauty Advent Calendar.
This anti-aging serum is a peachy-colored liquid gel, with a fruity scent. It contains Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Ubiquinone (a natural anti-oxidant), and Hyaluronic Acid (a humectant) to help increase skin hydration and plumping. Macadamia nut and Sunflower Seed oils act as a skin-softening base and provide Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids to the skin. It also promises to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen, elastin and glycan production, and to increase skin radiance and improve skin tone.
After reading all that, I was really expecting a lot from this little tube of serum. 4ml may not seem like a lot, but it lasted me a month, and as I have oily skin, I used this serum at night instead of a night cream. It does state on Snowberry's website that no other product should be applied for at least 5 minutes after the Serum, to allow sufficient time for eProlex™ activation.
Yes, I liked the feel and smell of the serum, and it did hydrate my skin well, but I didn't see any difference in the fine lines around my eyes. The little vacuum pump sample bottle ensured that every last drop was used, but would I purchase a full sized bottle? Probably not. I just feel that this product is seriously overpriced. It is very expensive, and there's no way I can justify spending that much money on a facial serum.
Apparently, Snowberry's New Radiance Face Serum is just as good, and is more affordable, so I may give that one a try the next time I'm looking for a serum.
Tips: Use sparingly, one pump was sufficient for my face and neck.
