I have been really looking forward to using this item from a Beauty Box - being good and using up all my old cheaper brands before I opened this , promising myself a real treat when I did.. . I have a spa bath and, with all other brands I have used, just a couple of of small squirts got a superb creamy and deep and lasting bubble bath (my grandkids have all loved that "glamour" too) but with this product it takes at least ten to twelve shots before there is any reasonable amount of bubbles and these are watery (like the product itself) .and short lived. Although the ingredients are probably more healthy than some brands I have not noticed any difference with my skin so I will certainly not be buying more. My visions of wallowing in fragrant masses of thick expensive feeling bubbles have certainly not been realised

I love trying new body washes so was excited when I saw this in a Beauty Vault. In my cart it went. It comes in a huge 500ml bottle and thankfully it has a great pump. The packaging is simple but still appealing.
It has a weird consistency, it is far too thin and runny for a body wash. I feel like I need to use so much and even then it hardly lathers at all. I like my body wash to cover me in glorious suds. It is however gentle and does make me feel clean which is about the only good thing about it, oh apart from the great pump :-)
The scent of this is really odd, the mash up of things they have put together don't appeal to me and the smell is too earthy and not something I would ever choose for myself.
It is a massive bottle which is taking forever to get through as I simply don't enjoy using it. I think it may need to be rehomed or repurposed. I wouldn't recommend this as it is on the expensive side and there are much better body washes out there to try.
I got this in the last beauty vault in my beauty box. I love body wash and I tend to use Body wash more so these days . I got the 500 ml bottle. I took this over to perth with me when I flew over in October.
Packaging comes in a pump bottle . Labelling does express a natural vibe. Consistency is clear fluid liquid. I got the Uplift scent . It reminds me of musks mixed with woody tones pulling together a warm husky note. What bothered me was that it didn’t lather up well . Due to that I used more product to try and get a good clean . It didn’t last me long . A little over a week. I attempted to use it in a spa bath still no bubbles.
I was disappointed with this body wash . I barely give out a two lip rating but this one is fitting . Price wise should be well under the $10 mark even with all those special ingredients. I wouldn’t recommend it either.
I 'bought' a large 500ml pump bottle of Natural Instinct Uplift Body Wash in the last Beauty Review Vault without smelling it first in a store, and I wish I had, because I would never have purchased it otherwise.
The bottle says "enriched with botanicals, vitamins C, B12 and K, avocado oil and lemongrass," and their website says "With the natural invigorating scent of orange, lemon and spearmint, a natural body wash bursting with plant-based ingredients rich in vitamins and antioxidants to bathe, pamper and protect skin." After reading all that, I expected this body wash to have a citrusy scent, but instead it's quite woody and earthy. It's not unpleasant, and the woodiness of the scent does make it unisex, but I personally didn't like it. I definitely couldn't smell any orange or lemon, and maybe just the slightest hint of spearmint under the woody scent.
Another thing that I wasn't happy with was the fact that this body wash doesn't lather very well. There's nothing worse that trying to wash yourself with body wash on a loofah and the loofah ends up becoming really dry halfway through. I found I had to wash the top half of my body and then add more body wash liquid to the loofah before washing the bottom half of my body. It just didn't foam enough, and I found I ended up using much more of the liquid than I thought I should have to. I know that it's sulphate free and soap free, but still, I've used sulphate and soap free products before and they still seem to foam to a certain degree, some more that this.
I have tried other Natural Instinct products and have loved them, however, I'm very disappointed with this body wash and won't be purchasing any more of it.
Tips: If you can, smell it before you purchase.
This body wash gets the tick of approval from me. At first I thought it smelt a bit odd - however the smell has grown on it.
At the moment my skin has a mind of its own due to hormones and I need to use gentle and natural products. I found this body wash gentle, nourishing and non irritating. It foams up just enough and it doesn't dry out my skin.
I find that it is a bit pricey for what it is. $12.99 for 500mls. I only use a wee bit at a time but it still is a bit on the higher side of what I like to pay for body wash.
I like that its free from petrochemicals, pegs, propylene glycol, mineral oils, phenoxyethanol, edta, sulphates, silicones, parabens, animal derivatives, paba, artificial fragrances and colours. I like to know what is going on my skin and I really like how they have made products that really are natural. I guess the price reflects this.
The 500ml pump bottle in my Top to Toe is cream with a complimentary label, very astically nice.
The ingredient list is full of what's not in wash, impressive but am left wondering what's in it?
Scent is odd to me, the lemon isn't at all subtle, uplifting does describe well but feel the product doesn't suit as a body wash for me.
Alongside Lemongrass is Vit C, B12 +K and Avocado Oil. Do we really need vitamins in Bodywash? Sounds more like a Vitamin pill than a body wash.
My expectations for body wash isn't too complicated, this one way too un-necessarily busy.
A clear liquid which doesn't really foam up. In my opinion the format and scent would suit for using middle of summer when a light weight refreshing wash would be appreciated. Product isn't drying, just a bit odd.
For me I love a lush, foamy and dense body wash.
This product a miss for me, I will use the rest of mine as a hand wash....funnily enough hand wash that's too foamy isn't my thing, it's a big bottle of hand wash for me to get through.
Not value for $ for me, in saying that the body wash is a great looking gift when matched with the hand cream.
Tips: Use as hand wash if as a body wash it's not your thing.
I received this in a beauty box and I don't hate it but I don't love it.
I like the bottle it comes in. It's simple and the label is pretty. The pump works well and this bottle has lasted me for ages - although that may be more due to having other body washes I have been liking using instead. It has a faint scent that I think smells like lemons and also honey - it's really hard to explain. It's a pleasant smell, but not delicious. The consistency is quite thin and it doesn't lather up very much. I like how it is sulphate free.
I feel like it definitely does leave me feeling clean and refreshed. My skin has been very dry lately, it always does in these colder months, and I don't feel like this body wash hydrates my skin at all like it claims to. It doesn't dry my skin out more or irritate it either, though.
I find this body wash just okay. I will continue to use, but I won't be repurchasing. I wouldn't pay, or recommend paying, $13 for this body wash.
I love trying out different body washes and different scents. I am still unsure on this one however! I like plum but lemon was a strange thing to mix with. I love that it is soap free and sulphate free which makes it ok to use everyday with none of those nasties.
I love the pump of the bottle and it looks pretty styley. It goes well with my neutral bathroom. I feel that it is a relatively big size at 500 but definitely not value for money.
Tips: One pump is enough :)
I got this in one of the BBBE boxes and was keen to try it as I haven't used this brand before.
Packaging - nothing flash, pretty labels if you're into that, does come with a pump which is great for getting the product out, and it is a good pump and doesn't come out too quickly like some can.
Formula - this is the part I'm not keen on. I actually found it a tad on the watery side and didn't lather all that well. But then I'm fussy and love lots of suds.
Scent - ummm hard to say really as it was quite faint. Its supposed to be Lemon, Tangerine and Spearmint. You can smell all of these, however it is not out there if that makes sense. If you are looking for a mild scent, then this would be perfect. I prefer more scent oomph.
I also didn't find it very moisturising either. The retail of this is $12.99 but I don't actually think it is worth it. Maybe there are other scents that are stronger?
I have tried a lot of Natural Instinct products and find them a bit too gentle for me in general. I didn't expect much from this so wasn't surprised when it wasn't very good.
The pump top is great on the plastic bottle which is a win initially but from there it went down hill. The prodyct is a bit thin for a body wash the scent a bit mild and kind of watery. It does foam up quite well though.
So no good for me as a body wash and now relegated to a hand wash in the bathroom to avoid wasting it.
Not a winner for me unfortunately.
Tips: Best suited to people who like very gentle products.
