I grabbed these in the last beauty vault, thanks BR! I have not tried hydrogel eye patches before so was quite excited to give them a whirl.
They come in an easy to tear open sachet and the patches themselves are then inside another sealed plastic packet. They have a layer that needs to be removed, then you apply them under your eyes.
The patch is like a thin slimy jelly, it has a soft floral scent. They stuck well to my face and didn't move at all. I got a slight stinging when first applied so be careful if you have sensitive skin.
I actually found them a bit weird and uncomfortable so I couldn't wait to peel them off! I patiently waited the whole 20 minutes, they peeled away easily but I was left with a sticky residue which was not ideal. I couldn't tell a difference in my eye area, definitely didn't do anything for me. I found the whole experience quite horrible really, wouldn't recommend at all.
These eye patches come in a sachet inside a little plastic pack. There is one set in each pack.
These ones weren't particularly moist when I took them out of the pack. The first one was hard to apply and didn't stay on very well. I didn't find they had excellent grip, and in fact had trouble stopping them from rolling up and falling off.
I used them as per the instructions on the pack - apply and leave for 20 minutes pretty much. I noticed my eyes felt quite nice and soothed while I was wearing them but I didn't notice anything helpful after I removed them. The product claim is that they will leave the eyes soft and illuminated. Unfortunately I didn't find that to be the case.
I have also tried the charcoal patches from the same brand and found those better than these. I wouldn't repurchase them.
