I've been using dream Cream for a week now. The scent smells like lavender and the texture is between thick and thin which is great because I don't like either of those textures. When I put it on it does absorb quite well and leaves my skin feeling moist until the next morning. The lotion is a bit oily though which is the only down side.

Tips: It's quite expensive for what you get
Although it says its a hand and body cream I use this on my face and it makes my skin feel so smooth and it really does help when my skins a bit red, irritated or dry. It has a pleasant smell it's really suitable for sensitive skin.
This is the second body lotion I've tried from Lush, having purchased it from a fellow "addict" for a cheaper price than what Lush offer. I was stoked, as I could try it a decent amount of time, and I can also use the little tub and return it with 4 of its brothers to get a free face mask.
The lotion borders on a pale purple/creamy white kind of color, but I prefer to say purple as it makes it seem lovelier, and is fitting for the smell. For a body lotion I thought it was on the runnier side. It's definitely not as thick as Celebrate, another Lush lotion. The good thing about it being so thin though as it seems to go further on the body.
The smell is so heavenly, I get a subtle yet delicious hint of lavender, and as I use it I feel soothed and relaxed. It really is a dream cream!! I also get a hit of something citrusy, but looking at the ingredients I must be smelling the rose absolute, which is very nice under the lavender.
This lotion is absolutely gorgeous. It makes my skin lovely and soft, it soothes my brain and the empty tub will come in handy. I really like it and I would most likely repurchase just for the smell alone!
I don't have sensitive or troublesome skin so when I received a tub of this cream in a gift pack it didn't really scream out try me. I usually go for the highly scented products first. But after recently getting some new tattoos I thought it would be a good time to try it.
It comes in a small 45g black pot, with a screw top lid. These are part of the take 5 empty pots back to get a free face mask.
The White cream is very thick and has a herbal lavender scent it's nice and not too overpowering. I was probably 2 weeks post tattoos when I tried this so most of the healing was done but I kind of regret not using it sooner. It is amazing at holding in moisture and adding moisture, It leaves my skin feeling so soft and nice. I also had a blood test around the same time and I didn't even feel the needle the nurse also commented on how soft my skin was.
So I must admit if I wasn't given one of these in a gift pack I would have missed out on an amazing moisturiser since i thought it was mainly for sensitive skin types. I will be repurchasing this again in the bigger tub and will feel safe using it on the mini me's.
This rich, fragrant cream is amazing for those suffering eczema. I use it as a spot treatment on my patches and it soothes and heals immediately. Sometimes the texture can be a little hit and miss (I've had really, really runny formulations and thicker creams) but it still does the trick regardless. A little bit on the pricier side but it is worth it as a little goes a long way.
Tips: Use as a spot treatment for eczema patches.
I love body lotions and I'm quite particular about the ones I use so when I received this as a gift I was hesitant. I've only used this on my arms and legs because I'm not a hand cream person but I can confirm that I won't be repurchasing this.
The product itself feels lovely on the skin and leaves it feeling moisturised but with a name like "Dream Cream" I was expecting some sort of WOW factor. I was disappointed to discover there is no amazing fragrance. Upon opening the small tub I couldn't detect much of anything until my nose was up against the product and I could smell lavender which I find delicious!!
It has a semi-thick consistency that is easily spread and I liked that it didn't leave a greasy feeling behind. However if you're a little too enthusiastic with the application it won't be hard to end up a walking grease ball - so little by little lovelies.
The product leaves my skin feeling moisturised for a good few hours but I noticed that a few minutes after application when I run my hand over the area it doesn't feel smooth. I feel that my palm pulls/tugs at the skin which is unusual because I don't have this issue with my favourite body lotions.
That minor issue is not a deal breaker for me however the scent definitely is!? I love the smell of lavender but it seems to be mixed with a somewhat herbal scent which makes my nose wrinkle. I don't want my skin smelling like this so I'm lucky I received the 45g tub so it's a manageable size for me to finish and finish quickly.
I'm a huge lushie but for good reason. This product deserves some serious praise because it is amazing!
Okay first off, I have pretty sensitive skin now and when I was on medication for my skin my entire body was constantly covered in red, and pretty sore eczema. I was given medicated creams to help but nothing worked. I had heard great things about this product so decided to buy a pot, i mean it can't be any worse than the creams the docs gave me. And would you believe the next day my eczema was almost gone! I continued to apply this every morning and within a few days, my skin all over my body was completely clear! It was like an actual miracle. I could not recommend this product enough!
The packaging is your usual lush packaging in the black pots. I liked to use a really good amount to really cover but it still lasted me a good four months! So amazing value for money.
Yes it is a bit expensive, but oh so worth it. I just cannot express enough how much this saved my skin. The scent isn't very powerful either like some lush scents can be so it's good if you are super sensitive to scents.
Tips: Take back 5 clean pots for a free fresh face mask! :)
I got a sample of this from lush to try out on my eczema because i had heard really good things. It stung really bad didn't absorb very well and overall didn't work for me.
This new years I have been hit with a fever. A Lush fever. Whilst I was away in Auckland I wanted to have my first in store Lush experiencs. I went to Botany Downs and it was there that I found this cream in a gift box. It's Christmas box with Rose jam. I was glad that these were both small because I wanted to give them both a try before commiting to a full sized pot. When I walked into the store the aroma of soaps and shower gels permeates the store. I highly reccomend going in if you haven't.
This Dream cream came in a 45 gram pot. This pot is black with the black and white lush labbeling on it. I find the lid fastened to this pot tightly. When I opened this pot I find a thick creamy glossy beige cream. I took some out and it feels surprisingly light weight on my skin. The aroma of this is simply magic. Smells like lavender , this gives me a sense of calming. I prefer to use this at night before I go to bed.
I like to use this after showering. My skin type is dry on my body and sentive combination on my face. I tried it on both areas and had no irritations at all. This melts into my skin. I like that it doesnt have a greasy after feel.
If your into herbal lavender scents then this is great. In comparison to my True body lotion I found this scent to be weaker than True. If you wanted a bargain then this would definately be the one to buy as the True one is very pricey. I can see a difference in hydration of my skin. Beware Lush is so addictive. I believe so far it has done my skin wonders.
I have eczema prone skin so I am on the lookout for products to soothe it when I break out in a itchy, red rash. I read rave reviews on Lush Dream Cream so had to pick up a sample of this. I luckily was able to get a given a generous sample. Recently I was doing a lot of sanding, varnishing and helping my dad repair things around the house in addition to the daily cleaning and cooking, dishes, etc. I had done everything I could do to stave off eczema by wearing gloves and apply a layer of vaseline in addition to handcream when I good apply one but after the red, itchy, bumpy patch appeared it was clear I would have to slow down on the DIY around the house. I pulled out my generous sample of Dream Cream and applied this to the itchy bumpy skin and it definitely soothed the itch from the first application. I then kept it on my desk to reapply whenever I thought of it and had a chance to and within days there seems to be a remission of the angry, red patch. My skin is definitely less itchy and the bumps have started fading. I really like that this lotion is light and absorbs in comparison to thick creams that are usually used to treat eczema. It has this herbal oat scent not my fave but the benefits of this lotion out way the scent. I like that this lotion is mostly natural as well. At around $35 for 240g it's cheaper than a lot of other eczema treatments. If mainly use it on my irritated skin it will last me a really long time so I definitely plan to purchase this once my sample is up.
Tips: Definitely get a sample if you can from Lush. It doesn't smell as good as their other products but it's amazing for soothing irritations so worth a try.
