Lush Rock Star Soap Review

I love Lush products but I'm actually not the biggest fan of soap, I'm more of a liquid shower gel kinda girl. I was introduced to Rock Star Soap by a fellow BR babe who sent me a bar and it completely won me over!

This is the ultimate soap for a girly-girl like me, pretty pink in colour and like all Lush soaps can be bought in various sizes depending on how big a chunk you want. When you buy it the soap is wrapped in paper, be careful where you store it especially in winter as condensation can cause the paper to go soggie, so store far from the bathroom!

The smell is deliciously sweet, like candy and a little similar to Snow Fairy from Lush. This is one of my favourite products to use in the evening as the feminine, yummy scent is a great way to end the day and send you off to sweetest of dreams.

The only reason this didn't get 5s across the board for me is I still prefer to buy a gel over a soap but if I do buy soap this is the one and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a sweet scented bath product.

This is one of my can't-resist Lush favourites. I'm not really a soap girl - only ever use it on my hands. Because of that, though, i like to have delicious soaps, and this is one of the best.

As with all Lush soaps, you can order this in a size as big or little as you wish. I first got this in a gift box with Snow Fairy shower gel, which I also love, and they're very similar. Sexy, sassy, sweet and special.

The soap is a pretty pink colour, and it somehow manages to smell pink too - fruity and girly. it's gorgeous. The scent stays on your skin (as I said I only use soap on my hands) for ages afterwards, and hangs around in the shower as well. It's not hugely hydrating, but it lathers well, and cleans and scents skin, and the lotion that always follows a shower takes care of the hydration.

The only reason that it doesn't get a full 5 is that the scent is definitely not to everyones tastes, and so I wouldn't recommend it to everyone - and because the lack of a hydrating element would be a turnoff for some :)

I have an addiction, a lush addiction I am seriously crazy about all things lush and this soap is no exception. I usually buy the godmother and rockstar stack because the 2 scents are Devine.

The colour of the bar is a pastel pink it's very girly. The scent is like bubble gum actually it could pass as a grand 'Ol chunk of strawberry Hubba Bubba. It's quite a soft soap, It is a creamy bar and lathers up a bit when I use it. It doesn't strip my skin of moisture or leave my skin feeling "squeaky clean"

Once dried it leaves a slight sweet scent on the skin. I don't notice it add any moisturise to my skin and still had to add moisturiser but I do get very dry skin.

This soap dissolves into nothing pretty quickly so it's best to chop the bar into smaller chunks so it's not wasted

This came highly recommended by some trusted Lush lovers so I had to have it. I love the star that is imprinted on the soap, it makes it so edgy but still sticking with the flirty girly side. It is a baby, creamy pink colour and makes my shower shelf look gorgeous! It is true that it's not just loved by females because my son also adores the scent and the star on it. He uses it as much as I do which prompted me to have to buy bigger chunks of it so he could have a cut off of his own.

I love sweet scents so this satisfies all of those cravings for sweet. It smells like marshmallow mixed with candy floss (yum). It smells edible almost. At $8.90 for 100g it is quite an expensive luxury but because it's natural I tend to go for green products more than chemically riddled products.

It builds up a nice creamy lather which means I don't have to use much to get myself clean all over. I have always found every Lush soap I have used to be drying on my already dry skin but after a thorough moisturizing after a shower the problem is remedied and I am left smelling of a candy shop and cleansed from head to toe!

I find that I can't use this for long periods of time because it causes my skin to become worse as time goes on. This is even after a slathering of moisturizer afterwards. I always keep it on hand for those moments when I want to smell sweet and give myself a bit of luxury.

This soap, it feel like luxury! This was one of the first soaps i had heard of from Lush, and it seemed too good to be true, so ofcourse, i had to try it for myself.

The soap is a beautiful creamy pink colour, and sometimes your soap with even have an imprint of a star on it. Super cute. This soap has the most beautiful sweet, vanilla smell. Its not too intense, but you can definitely smell it when the soap is in the room. It just makes my bathroom smell amazing. In also smells amazing when its lathering up on my skin, but the smell does not really linger on my skin.

Speaking of lather, this soap does lather up nicely, but not like a body wash. However, it does lather up enough to clean my skin, without stripping it so its awesome.

Overall, a lovely soap. It is a bit expensive since it costs around $8 for 100g of the soap. However, it does last a long time, so thats a bonus. This is a soap i buy myself for a treat, and not something that i use everyday, but is definitely worth a try

Although a pricey item, the Rock Star soap does wonders for your skin. It smells divine, like candy, and leaves your skin smelling great even after your shower. It's a sweet pink and sometimes comes in a star shape. It's smooth and lathers and spreads easily. Again because it is pricey, it's better as a treat-yourself soap rather than a long term soap, but it lasts a reasonable amount of time, so it's still a good buy!

One of the things I love about ordering from Lush, aside of their amazing products, is the generous samples they often add in to your order. One of my recent purchases included a generous sized chunk of rockstar soap which I am totally in love with! It has a very sweet marshmallowy scent which lingers on the skin nicely without being over powering. The soap itself is a gorgeous creamy bright pink, is fairly solid feeling and suds up beautifully. I don't notice it to be drying on my skin but in saying that I always moisturise after a bath or shower.

I really love this soap. My soap is in the shape of a star so not sure if they have changed the design which is a shame because it is so cute. So the smell is a bit like lollies, but not sickly sweet like some can smell. The price is so good because this product literally lasts for ages, you really get your money's worth here. It is the only soap made by Lush that leaves the smell on your skin which is a huge must for me as I like to still smell the product after it is washed off and dried.

The only downside to this is that it lacks moisturizing properties which I need for my super dry skin. I need to plop on quite a bit of moisturiser with this. Other than that, its an amazing smelling soap.

It took me so long to jump on the Lush wagon, and thinking back I don't know why it took me so long, now I cant live without a lot of their products.

The colour is awesome, it is a pastel pink colour , if the colour doesn't pull you in the smell definitely will. It smells like bubble gum and candy floss all pushed into a soap bar.

It lathers very well and is very moisturizing. After showering the scent lasts a few hours, my husband knows when I use this soap in the shower because he said it smells like I covered myself in candy. My children also love it but I make sure I put it away once they are finished with it. If you leave it in water it turns into a slippery and jelly like mess.

I have repurchased this many times, it is a house hold favorite.

If you love sweet smelling moisturizing soaps then this one is most definitely for you!
