Tips: Only need a little bit of spritz can rub in gently. Use after cleansing
This is refreshing and it has an powerful spray which has good pressure. It is not one of my favourites as it doesn't fully plump up my skin and not an effective toner for my liking. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy this one.
This toner smells good and feels cool/refreshing when you apply. However, I did not find it hydrating. When spraying it over makeup it did nothing to help the dry areas, and if anything made it look a little worse. I also didn't find it suitable for my sensitive skin. When my skin was going through a particularly sensitive period this product caused it to become red. My skin is back to its usual sensitivity now but applying it still makes my face feel hot and tight/tingling. Definitely won't repurchase.
Tips: I'm currently using the Dr Hauschka facial toner and it's been much better on my skin. Unfortunately it is also much for expensive.
I found this toner a little bit disappointing to be honest. I mean it's ok but it just doesn't have the wow factor that some other toners do. I like something that is super hydrating and visibly gives my skin a boost and this toner just didn't do it. It was a little bit hydrating but not to the degree I was expecting considering that is it's main point of sale. The mist is nice and fine, not bubbly like the vitamin c toner and It is super gentle so would be good for those with sensitive skin. I'd definitely go for the vitamin c toner or Mario Badescu over this one.
This is my absolute favourite, go-to mist toners - and I've tried a few! I love this one as it's nice and hydrating, not too harsh or stripping, but does a good job and preps the face well for other skincare. I also love rose scents, so the subtle rose scent of this toner is a huge hit with me. I do find that, as I have oily-combo skin, on oilier days I like using a slightly more aggressive toner to sort that oil out, however this is a solid go-to for most days of the week (and especially if you don't have very oily skin!).
Tips: If you're not a rose fan, Trilogy makes a vitamin C version of this toner which doesn't have the rose scent and I find is just as effective!
This toner is the bomb!! It is super hydrating and I love the fact that it is a spray so you can spray it directly on your face. I used it morning and night. Super gentle (I have rosacea). The only downside is it is not available in the supermarkets, so I need to go to Farmers to buy it.
The toner comes packaging in a beautiful frosted brown glass spray bottle, with the classic white Trilogy label. It's clear no expense was spared with the packaging and I love the idea of glass packaging for a toner as it makes the toner more cooling. However, this does make this way too heavy to travel with. The fragrance is typical of a lot of Trilogy palettes and truly is aromatic, but it's INTENSE. It smells strongly of lavender, rose, and other florals, but definitely has a grandma-ish vibe to the scent. I find the scent ridiculously overpowering and I normally enjoy strong scents, like it makes me gag when I spray this (yikes!). Getting past the fragrance though, the mist sprays so lightly and evenly and absorbs super quickly into the skin. This hydrates my skin instantly, and it feels so refreshing and is nice to use on a hot day. I like to use it after I cleanse or use a face mask to close up my pores, and add hydration back to the skin. I think this works well, but it's effects aren't anything other more affordable toners or mists don't achieve and the smell is too much, so I can't really justify the high price tag of this. This achieves what it sets out to do, but I just think if you're wanting a hydrating mist, this isn't one of the better ones out there, and this wouldn't suit a lot of people due to its strong scent. I'll happily use mine up, but I wouldn't buy this again due to its high price tag and the smell.
I got this as part of a Trilogy gift with purchase at Farmers. A handy little 20ml bottle with a spray dispenser and clear plastic cap. This has quite a strong scent but soon dissipates. Refreshing, cooling and hydrating, I use the spray mist to freshen up my face during the day. Nice natural ingredients, including aloe vera, lavender, rose oil and lavender. Trilogy products are not cheap, but are worth it to get natural ingredients, made in New Zealand. I would recommend this product.
Tips: Spray from bottle held at least 30cm from face, allow mist to dry naturally.
I got this as part of the Trilogy Rosehip set. It came in a 20 ml travel size spray bottle. Perfect for popping in my bag.
The mist is lovely. It has quite a strong scent but it does calm down. This is super refreshing and feels cooling on the face. It is so good in summertime. Keeps me feeling hydrated and nourished. I have sensitive skin and get no irritation at all.
I would happily buy this in a full sized bottle. I recommend buying the travel sized set first so you can try everything and see what suits your skin. Keep an eye out as Trilogy often have some great sales at Farmers.
i always use this after a shower or whenever im doing skincare. its so so good and really hydrates ur face when dry, superly recommend to others!!
