Trilogy Mattifying Moisturising Lotion

This product is beautifully lightweight and hydrating. This lotion has a pleasant aroma, I love the Lemon Myrtle scent, it is fresh and uplifting. This cream is quickly absorbed into skin and keeps the oil production down, skin is moisturised and balanced without feeling greasy. The tube is easy to use and you can dispense the precise amount without getting messy or contaminating the product. After application, skin is prepped ready for makeup or bed/sleep. Lovely to use and my skin stays shine free all day. A great product for oily -combination skintypes.

The Trilogy mattifying moisturising lotion comes in a 50ml squeezy tube and contains a wonderful mix of ingredients perfect for oily and combination skin. Rosehip, witch hazel and lemon myrtle ... who would have thought. I love the smell of this, its a clean fragrant scent, with a touch of refreshing. Easily applies and absorbs. I find my makeup applies perfectly with a matte base, perfect for makeup application.

I am really loving this Trilogy product! I was excited to receive this to trial. Having sensitive skin I always find it difficult to find a good moisteriser . This is a lovely light moisteriser, which feels great on my skin and absorbs really well. I havent had any reactions to it, yay. I have also found the dry patches around my nose has diminished so I'm super impressed with that. It comes in a tube so was really easy to squeeze out the amount that I needed (which was not much). The fact that it is also natural & vegan friendly was a bonus!! I love using natural products so much. I will definitely be looking out for this products in the future.

As with all the Trilogy products, the Mattifying Moisturising Lotion smells so good out of the bottle. It's incredibly light, something I don't normally go for. Usually I prefer thicker creams but as this follows an oil in the skincare routine, it was probably the right thing. Because of it's thin consistency you don't need to use a lot.

The cream soaked in quickly and didn't leave any residue. It didn't stop my skin from getting oily later in the day but my skin definitely didn't look shiny or greasy, even after using an oil. However, I'm not sure there was enough to differentiate it from my usual brands.

I'm not sure it does enough to convince me it's worth spending so much more on this over a more medium priced moisturiser, but it feels and smells lovely, and I do like the idea of supporting local brands.

This is perfect if you want something light for under makeup and keeps your skin moisturised. There is a light fragrance to this but I really liked the smell, very fresh and clean. This didn’t break me out but it also helps to know that the witch hazel would help with any breakouts that I had. Overall it seems like a great basic to have a hand for your skin.

I just love this product. The tube has a very natural and appealing look. The lotion feels very light and not at all greasy on the skin. I used it every morning and night after washing my face. It left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated giving my face a healthy glow. My complexion has also cleared up since I have started using this lotion. It has a mild fragrance which is slightly fruity and absolutely divine. I absolutely am in love with this lotion and definitely recommend it to all.

I was soooo keen to try this as I really hate shiny skin…. Promising to reduce shine & balance the skin (with rosehip, witch hazel & lemon myrtle) had me sold. But did it work? Oh my – it sure did! I truly love this product. It did exactly what it said – my skin feels so smooth & soft but also hydrated without any greasiness. And it lasts almost the whole day…. I use oil absorbing sheets prior to refreshing my make-up & often have to use two; using this lotion I often don’t feel the need or only use one. Better talk about the properties – certified natural mattifying lotion, rehydrating & balancing & preps for perfect make-up application & it replenishes both water & oil. It also contains oils & salicylic acid. It does contain Benzyl alcohol as a preservative but this is one of the better ones to use & it is clearly stated on the label. It does not contain an SPF & I haven’t tried it with one yet. Personally; I will also introduce an age defying night cream as I do like to use ‘anti-wrinkle’ products & don’t need the mattifying effect overnight. However the lotion was great to use at night & my skin felt amazing on waking. Oh & it smells really nice – fresh & not chemically smelling like some natural products do. Would I use again – definitely!

There is something about Trilogy products that feels so luxurious and a real treat for my skin, and this product is no different.

The Mattifying Moisturising Lotion is one my favourite moisturisers ever. Which is a pretty big call, but it really does what it says it is going to - mattifies the skin. I was quite skeptical it would, but it really does.

Because it mattifies the skin, it helps with applying my makeup and helping it stay on during the day. It has a mint and melon fragrance, which I wasn't a fan of but it faded pretty quick.

Highly recommend this product for anyone with oily or combination skin. It also goes really well with the Clarifying Cleansing Gel and the Hemphip Balancing Oil for reducing overall shine.

I really love this! I love the way my skin absorbs it straight away and there is no residue left. I use it with my skin care routine in the mornings before I put my makeup on. I feel that my foundation blends better with this on as a base and my skin seem a lot less oily. Throughout the day my skin and make up usually end up looking shiny but now that I use this is not until around 5pm-6pm that my makeup/ skin looks like it needs a little touch up or help haha. When I am not wearing makeup my skin looks a lot less oily across my T zone and the dry patches I usually have around my chin area all seem to have reduced, giving my skin a more even look. I really enjoy the subtle fragrance of this lotion, it's not over powering and it's very nice. The bottle is also really good, no wastage and I'll be able to get it all out before purchasing more.

I’ve never used Trilogy before until now and I have to say I’m a total convert!

I’m 40 with oily ness of a teenager, as annoying as it is , my skin still looks young -ish haha!

The packaging is sleek easy to grab and squeeze tube.

I’m not a fan of lemongrass essential oils but I’m happy to put that aside from the effects and the way this moisturiser works so well for me! A hydrating yet mattifying lotion , IM SOLD!

It hydrates which I love yet reduces shine really well, glowy but not an oil slick.

I’ve found it does tingle a little from the salicylic acid , but it’s not bad at all.

My skin looks amazing with this , I use the hemphip oil right over top morning and night and my face isn’t dripping in oil. So trust me this range really works!
