A fabulous product. It's Lightweight & absorbs quickly into skin. I have been using this everynight after removing my make up and it feel lovely on my face. It has a subtle fragrance not over powering at all. Comes in a glass bottle with dropper attached for ease of use.... 30mls Made in New Zealand containing Honey, Gold Flakes, Collagen to name a few plus 10+UMF

Thank you for the opportunity to be able to trial ‘Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Serum’. I love the product and would highly recommend it! Its only been a few days, that I’ve been using it and I already see positive results. I predict that after long time use, it’ll give me softer and finer looking skin. Currently my face is not as dry looking and feeling and I have now found a best friend for my moisturizer. Side by side, they ease the appearance of my age nemesis: wrinkles. I like the creamy soft consistency of the product and I appreciate that it has no fragrance at all. I also like how easy it is to use, thanks to the handy squeezy drop application. With that feature, it gives me a good amount of control with the quantity I use. Which helps me follow what’s stated on the bottle: a small amount each use and in return, I think the 30ml serum, will last me months, which I think is great. I love the packaging and the embossed writing on the box and on the bottle. I love how the ‘directions of use’ is simple and straightforward. Last but not least, I love that its New Zealand made. For someone growing old, like me, I highly recommend this product to be part of others’ beauty regimen.

The packaging design was a bit fussy for my taste, I prefer more streamlined and simple product design. I'm also not super bowled over by the addition of the gold flakes, as I doubt they add significant therapeutic value, and I prefer plant based products over animal ones. The serum seemed to do a reasonable job, and a little definitely went a long way. It felt soothing as a base underneath my moisturiser. I would probably not but this product, but I suspect I'm not the target audience.

The serum looks nice when you put it on your skin, and has a nice texture. It gives it a glowing look where you have used it on your face. I found that it started to firm my skin but need more time to see if it works with fine lines.and wrinkes. Will definatly keep using it to see the efforts from it.

If your after silky smooth skin then this is the serum for you, now while I cant see any physical changes in my skin I can certainly feel how much smoother it is.

This is definately one I will continue to use!!

The product has a very natural look to the box and the bottle is clear glass with a dropper style. This natural look goes with the ingredients promoted by the product.

I loved that it was water based and absorbed into my skin quickly leaving no residue behind. I also loved the neutral smell which means I don’t have too many perfumed products on my face as I can be sensitive to these. Even though I couldn’t feel it on my face I was left with a feeling of freshness. The gold flakes made me nervous as I didn’t want to look like I had been crafting with my daughter but I didn’t have to worry, no sparkles lingered.

As for the results I feel the review time could have been longer to allow for differing delivery times giving a good opportunity to use the product. In saying that I’m sure I can see a difference in the fine lines around my eyes and I’m looking forward to using the rest of my product.

I was really thrilled to be trying a New Zealand product and would love to look more into the product range.

This serum is applied via a wand to the areas you wish to treat. It is a sticky consistency and the gold flakes are quite visible on the wand. I applied this to my problem areas (scars around my mouth, around my eyes and nose) and soothed it in with my fingers. Took a bit to get the hang of how much to apply but once I worked it out it was easy to get it right. At times the gold flakes stayed on my skin so I had to remove them individually as I didn't want to look like I was attending a school ball in the 90's under certain light and then apply my moisturiser if it was needed. Once the product was in and set, my skin felt tighter and visually looked better throughout the day. It didn't smell or leave a sticky residue or film. My sensitive skin didn't react angrily like most products. I really liked this product and was nice to be able to see results in such a short time.

There is something about this product that makes it (and me) feel very luxurious - it could be the study glass bottle or thick glass stick or maybe it is the 23 carat gold flakes...

I have been applying a small amount of this serum to my fine lines both morning and night for about 1.5 weeks now. The serum has a great texture, it doesn’t leave any stickiness on my fingers and has a very light aroma.

This serum feels quite thick when you apply to your face, but it magically absorbs into you skin very easily. In the morning, I apply my usual moisturiser after applying the serum.

Is it too soon, I don’t know, but at this stage I do not see any improvement to my aging skin - but I won’t give up on this serum yet and will continue to apply twice daily.

My skin was in a terrible state when this arrived - being skin care last and being really busy plus having been on multiple aeroplane flights, stressful situations resulting in an awful coldsore and lack of sleep and exhaustion. So it was definitely going to get a workout whipping my skin into shape.

It comes in a dropper style bottle - not my favourite form of dispensary as once You have serum in one hand it makes it difficult to put the lid back on one handed. It’s a clear serum with little gold specks through it. It has a very, very light fragrance.

This serum absorbs quickly into skin - initially upon application it sort of feels sticky and a little tight as it dries but this goes away after a few minutes. The gold flakes disappeared completely. I used it morning and night.

My skin felt soft and smooth immediately. I didn’t think there had been much difference but then one of my daughters friends commented that I looked like I had been on a relaxing tropical holiday - SAY WHAT? I’ll put the tropical part down to my winter coloured foundation being a shade too dark but the relaxed?...it had to be the serum! In the weeks leading up to using this serum my skin had been very dehydrated and quite frankly looking old. In a matter of days my skin felt soft and plump, and my coldsore almost gone. I think it healed much quicker than normal. I’m wondering if this would be good for acne prone skin? To help the healing process?

I’m liking that this is oil free - I hate looking all shiny and like an oil slick. It doesn’t give a matte finish either, but rather I think it absorbs right into the skin and doesn’t just sit on top. I used this under makeup - and it was great, some serums and creams ball up under makeup but this one definitely passed that test. Overall I am impressed with this serum - I’d definitely buy it again.

Comes in a glass dropper bottle and includes 23 Carat gold flakes in the serum - fancy!!

It dispenses nicely and smells quite subtle, slightly honey-ish but not overwhelming.

I found 3-4 drops is all that is needed for one application and to leave my skin feeling very hydrated and smooth.

I've used it several times now and I feel my skin is less dry and certainly more radiant, I'll keep using it and update the review with my ongoing results.

I'm not sure of the purpose of the gold flakes - it would have been good to have had more information about what they are included for.

This and the hand cream which I also reviewed would make a beautiful NZ gift for someone from overseas and I will look out for these products for this very purpose
