Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Ultra Rejuvenating Serum Reviews

I received the Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Ultra Rejuvenating Serum one week ago and thought it was a pretty tall order for any product to make any real noticeable difference in such a short time. However, I decided to give it a fair trial and chose to only use one side of my face to see if I could notice any changes at the end of the week's trial. The packaging was attractive and the small glass bottle containing the serum was easy to use with its glass & rubber dropper ( well done - no plastic here). On first use the product felt quite sticky but it was quickly absorbed into the skin. I used it each morning and evening after cleansing and followed up with my usual day or night moisturiser. It didn't have any noticeable fragrance and only required 1-2 drops for half my face. At the end of the week, I am pleasantly surprised that it does seem to have had some effect on fine lines and even an age spot seems slightly lighter in colour. I would definitely consider using this product in the future depending on the price - I wonder if, with ingredients like gold flakes, placenta & collagen, it may be beyond my budget. However, I look forward to using the remainder of the product and seeing what further results it may effect.

I was delighted to be selected to trial this very pretty looking Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Ultra- Rejuvenating Face Serum with 23 Carat Gold Flakes.

My skin is sensitive and on the drier side so I was looking forward to seeing if one of the key ingredients, Manuka Honey could help improve my skins hydration levels. I should mention that it has a UMF of 10 which basically means it's genuine NZ manuka honey and the value indicates the strength of those key ingredients. I was also keen and slightly skeptical of the pretty gold flakes and what benefit they might have.

The bottle is made of glass and is see thru which showcases the gold flakes, all 23 carats. The dropper applicator is a smart feature as it makes it easy and hygienic to dispense the right amount.

The serum is a clear, watery gel with gold flakes. It is lightweight so it leaves no greasy feeling on my skin once it has absorbed in. It absorbs very quickly so there is no waiting around to put other products on. There is a slight unpleasant smell to the serum if you put your nose right up to the bottle but it doesn't actually leave a lingering smell once applied. I apply morning and night after cleansing but before moisturising.

So the verdit.... It feels great on my skin and my foundation is wearing better as my skin looks and feels more hydrated. I measured this extra hydration by the disappearance of previously dry patches on and around my nose and on my cheeks before the trial  My skin also feels very soft which is wonderful as I have only been trialling the serum for a short period of time (6days).   I think the gold flakes may have a slight brightening effect on my skin but I can't say I've noticed anything more at this stage and I do wonder if they are just a visual gimmick to make you purchase.

With our without the gold I do believe it delivers on hydrating and softening your skin. Hopefully with continual use I will start seeing some plumping or smoothing out of fine lines. I will update this review in a few months.

I have sensitive skin and worry about trying new things so was excited to be part of the trial team for the serum. Being in my mid 30s yet having hardly any fine lines etc I was a lil dubious about it when it arrived and I read the box. But figured I'd give it my all and I have to say I love it! Using it on the couple of fine lines I have around my eyes and the dark circles after a couple of shocking nights sleep this past week, & wow! It definitely helps to rehydrate and rejuvenate my skin.

The gold flecks make it look good on, and it absorbs pretty quickly. I love the fact the bottle has a dropper which makes it easy to apply.

I'm definitely going to continue using it and see what happens.

The Alpine Silk Manuka Honey ultra rejuvenating serum is outstanding. It is made in New Zealand and uses manuka honey which is high in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties that help to moisturize and soften the skin. I usually use a heavier night cream and instead replaced it with the Ultra rejuvenating serum, massaging a small amount it into my fine lines until it was fully absorbed. The serum is silky smooth and glides on easily with no stickiness (that you may expect with honey as an ingredient) and no oiliness. It has a very subtle scent that doesn't overpower and goes away once the serum is absorbed into the skin. There are 23 carat gold flakes in the product that make it that much more indulgent.

I found that after using this product for a week the fine lines around my eyes were less pronounced and my skin was looking lovely and bright. I haven't used many serum's in the past and this is one that I am so impressed with it is going to become part of my regular routine. The price of the product is reasonable as very little needs to be used daily so it will last and the results are worth it.

The Alpine Silk box evidences the goodness of Manuka honey and that the product is made in New Zealand. The bottle is simple with a drop applicator that makes it very easy to use. You can see the gold flakes in the bottle and it is recyclable as it is glass (with the exception of the drop applicator).

I have been using Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Ultra Rejuvenating Serum for about a week now. On the first try, my skin felt refreshed and smooth, and it absorbed straight away. After using it daily, twice a day, I noticed the fine lines starts to reduce, and my skin feels smoother and fuller. I love this produc, and will definitely use it again in the future!

Wow! This powerful serum is packed with amazing ingredients and my skin is absolutely lapping up the benefits. I was thrilled to be selected for this trial as I am aware of how incredible manuka honey. The product is beautifully presented in a glass bottle with a pipette to dispense the serum. The serum is clear with gorgeous flecks of 23 carat gold flakes. There is no discernible smell and I have been using this product after cleansing my skin, twice a day, for seven days . I mentioned that it is packed with amazing ingredients including manuka honey, 23 carat gold, collagen and aloe vera. I did a bit of reading and found that honey is a known detoxifier and exfoliator which would explain why my skin feels smoother and looks clearer. The collagen helps to make your skin feel firmer and the aloe vera aids in soothing and moisturising skin. Gold is helpful for rejuvinating and revitalising delicate skin. I am in LOVE with this serum. My skin feels soft and looks plumper and clearer, I have to resist stroking it ! And this is only after one week- I cannot wait to see how it looks and feels after a months use.

The serum comes beautifully packaged in a glass bottle inside the box. One drop from the dropper is enough for full face application.

The serum is light and spreads easily with no detectable smell. Because it is oil free, it leaves a non-greasy moisturized feeling. I've been using it before bed for overnight treatment and in the morning for pre-makeup skin smoothing.

My skin has had some serious dry patches due to winter and this has definitely helped heal them.

After a week of use, my wrinkles are much less noticable. I'm prone to breakouts and have had no issues with this product. Definitely a winner.

It's quite thick, but feels nice on the skin, absorbs easily and doesn't feel greasy afterwards. It's light doesn't feel like you have anything on. Seemed to smooth out my fine lines. Will definitely keep using

I was nervous at first trying a product with placenta in it, but after using it for a week, could not live without it!! It comes in a frosted glass bottle showing the gold flakes inside and has a dropper which makes application incredibly easy. The dropper also ensures you only use what you need. It is a loose gel consistency and a little goes a long way. I have a very strong sense of smell and find it has a slight chemical smell, but this disappears very quickly. As you apply the serum it becomes a little sticky, but then absorbs into the skin so quickly leaving it smooth and silky. I have only been using this product for 1 week and have found the fine lines around my eyes are already improving. I can not wait to see the difference after a month! Definitely recommend this Serum.

Pleasing to look at the gold flakes really make it eye catching, but don’t be fooled they don’t appear on your skin during use. It’s a dropper applicator and makes application easy, you only need a small amount to go a long way. After 6 days of use I’ve barely scratched the surface. I have been using it Day and night and following with moisturiser as suggested on the bottle. It rubs in well and absorbs fast leaving no residue, you can’t even tell you’ve put it on. After 6days I have found that the fine lines on my forehead aren’t as deep and my frown line is improving, after further use I hope this will further improve. I would recommend this to a friend and have already told a few work mates about it.
