Nice bright packaging. This product contains all the ingredients you would expect in a rejuvenating serum, collagen, vitamins and gold flakes. You can see the flakes in the serum and they are in each application. Nice squeezy syringe makes it easy to use. This product was not for me and I found it very drying. My skin has now broken out is very sensitive. I will not continue to use this product.

My skin was in a terrible state when this arrived - being skin care last and being really busy plus having been on multiple aeroplane flights, stressful situations resulting in an awful coldsore and lack of sleep and exhaustion. So it was definitely going to get a workout whipping my skin into shape.

It comes in a dropper style bottle - not my favourite form of dispensary as once You have serum in one hand it makes it difficult to put the lid back on one handed. It’s a clear serum with little gold specks through it. It has a very, very light fragrance.

This serum absorbs quickly into skin - initially upon application it sort of feels sticky and a little tight as it dries but this goes away after a few minutes. The gold flakes disappeared completely. I used it morning and night.

My skin felt soft and smooth immediately. I didn’t think there had been much difference but then one of my daughters friends commented that I looked like I had been on a relaxing tropical holiday - SAY WHAT? I’ll put the tropical part down to my winter coloured foundation being a shade too dark but the relaxed?...it had to be the serum! In the weeks leading up to using this serum my skin had been very dehydrated and quite frankly looking old. In a matter of days my skin felt soft and plump, and my coldsore almost gone. I think it healed much quicker than normal. I’m wondering if this would be good for acne prone skin? To help the healing process?

I’m liking that this is oil free - I hate looking all shiny and like an oil slick. It doesn’t give a matte finish either, but rather I think it absorbs right into the skin and doesn’t just sit on top. I used this under makeup - and it was great, some serums and creams ball up under makeup but this one definitely passed that test. Overall I am impressed with this serum - I’d definitely buy it again.

Pleasing to look at the gold flakes really make it eye catching, but don’t be fooled they don’t appear on your skin during use. It’s a dropper applicator and makes application easy, you only need a small amount to go a long way. After 6 days of use I’ve barely scratched the surface. I have been using it Day and night and following with moisturiser as suggested on the bottle. It rubs in well and absorbs fast leaving no residue, you can’t even tell you’ve put it on. After 6days I have found that the fine lines on my forehead aren’t as deep and my frown line is improving, after further use I hope this will further improve. I would recommend this to a friend and have already told a few work mates about it.

If your after silky smooth skin then this is the serum for you, now while I cant see any physical changes in my skin I can certainly feel how much smoother it is.

This is definately one I will continue to use!!

There is something about this product that makes it (and me) feel very luxurious - it could be the study glass bottle or thick glass stick or maybe it is the 23 carat gold flakes...

I have been applying a small amount of this serum to my fine lines both morning and night for about 1.5 weeks now. The serum has a great texture, it doesn’t leave any stickiness on my fingers and has a very light aroma.

This serum feels quite thick when you apply to your face, but it magically absorbs into you skin very easily. In the morning, I apply my usual moisturiser after applying the serum.

Is it too soon, I don’t know, but at this stage I do not see any improvement to my aging skin - but I won’t give up on this serum yet and will continue to apply twice daily.

I received the Alpine Silk Manuka Honey Ultra Rejuvenating Serum one week ago and thought it was a pretty tall order for any product to make any real noticeable difference in such a short time. However, I decided to give it a fair trial and chose to only use one side of my face to see if I could notice any changes at the end of the week's trial. The packaging was attractive and the small glass bottle containing the serum was easy to use with its glass & rubber dropper ( well done - no plastic here). On first use the product felt quite sticky but it was quickly absorbed into the skin. I used it each morning and evening after cleansing and followed up with my usual day or night moisturiser. It didn't have any noticeable fragrance and only required 1-2 drops for half my face. At the end of the week, I am pleasantly surprised that it does seem to have had some effect on fine lines and even an age spot seems slightly lighter in colour. I would definitely consider using this product in the future depending on the price - I wonder if, with ingredients like gold flakes, placenta & collagen, it may be beyond my budget. However, I look forward to using the remainder of the product and seeing what further results it may effect.

The serum looks nice when you put it on your skin, and has a nice texture. It gives it a glowing look where you have used it on your face. I found that it started to firm my skin but need more time to see if it works with fine lines.and wrinkes. Will definatly keep using it to see the efforts from it.

I was nervous at first trying a product with placenta in it, but after using it for a week, could not live without it!! It comes in a frosted glass bottle showing the gold flakes inside and has a dropper which makes application incredibly easy. The dropper also ensures you only use what you need. It is a loose gel consistency and a little goes a long way. I have a very strong sense of smell and find it has a slight chemical smell, but this disappears very quickly. As you apply the serum it becomes a little sticky, but then absorbs into the skin so quickly leaving it smooth and silky. I have only been using this product for 1 week and have found the fine lines around my eyes are already improving. I can not wait to see the difference after a month! Definitely recommend this Serum.

The packaging design was a bit fussy for my taste, I prefer more streamlined and simple product design. I'm also not super bowled over by the addition of the gold flakes, as I doubt they add significant therapeutic value, and I prefer plant based products over animal ones. The serum seemed to do a reasonable job, and a little definitely went a long way. It felt soothing as a base underneath my moisturiser. I would probably not but this product, but I suspect I'm not the target audience.

I have tried this every day since receiving this, at this stage I think there has been a very slight improvement in some of my fine lines - I applied on my crows feet by my eyes, a slightly deeper line on my cheek, around my lips and on some forehead lines. Probably the noticeable result so far is the deep line on my cheek looks slightly reduced. Before making a decision as to whether it truly works and if I would purchase again, I think more time is needed. The serum is attractive with the gold flakes, and the serum felt nice to apply and was definitely fast absorbing. The bottle will last a long time since you only need a small amount on your troublesome areas.
