Alpine Silk Rosehip Recovery Face Mask Reviews

I found this face mask to be super creamy. It smells pleasant and not chemically. The face mask is super easy to apply and you don’t meet too too much. I found that the face mask made my face feel smooth and also helped my reddness disappear. I would use this product again.

I was so lucky to be chosen to review this and it’s awesome that it’s made here in New Zealand. The packaging is very pretty. It’s a pink box with a 3D like rose. The facemask is contained in a 100ml pot with similar design to the box.

The face mask has a thick white consistency, which feels more like a face cream than a face mask. It doesn’t have a rosehip scent at all. It smells more like sweet almond, which is a lovely scent. After cleansing my face, I applied the facemask onto my clean skin. It doesn’t specify the amount to use, so I just scooped some with my fingers and evenly applied it onto my face. I left it on my face for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. My skin felt smooth and supple and felt hydrated. It also had a refreshing feel to it.

This is a unique face mask, which doesn’t dry once it’s on the face like most face masks. I like it and I recommend it to anyone who wants a hydrating face mask.

This is possibly my favourite face mask of all time. At first glance I didn't this this product would be anything special but, through being selected to trial this product I've been proven wrong.

On application, the cream is quite thick. It spreads easily and does not gsve s strong or distinct smell. As a mask it does not harden or change consistency. After about 5 minutes I feel a bit of a tingle on my skin each time I use the mask. It washes off really easily leaving my skin feeling so soft, plump and hydrated.

I think I could get about 10 masks to a tub.

First impression was the package makes it look cheap. When i open it the tub with the label makes it look and feel cheap. Try to use as it said and didnt like it at all. Feels like a really thick moisturiser, not a face mask

I found this an unusual face mask. The white creamy texture was not what I was expecting. When applied to the face it looks like a very thick layer of moisturizer that hasn’t been absorbed.

However, it left my skin very soft when I removed it. My skin felt quite plump, and when coupled with the Alpine rosehip oil it was a great results.

I found it stayed quite tacky and didn’t dry, which I was not used to.

It had very little scent which can be nice, but I found the texture; and the very white colour coupled with the lack of scent to almost be a little sterile and I felt as if I was applying a medicinal product rather than a face mask.

I will continue to use the tub as I liked the effect the product had, but just think it could have a little more wow factor.

I was quite surprised at this product. I was expecting the typical face mask that dries on your skin. This face mask is like a very thick cream and gradually soaks into your skin, rather than drying. My skin felt plump and smooth after using this just once.

I like how this face mask doesn’t have a strong smell. It is lightly scented of rose and doesn’t overwhelm your nostrils.

I really liked this skin care mask. Firstly it was easy to put on. I felt really nice on the skin and the longer you left it the more it soaked into your skin. Some masks make your skin feel tight this just made my skin feel really hydrated. The mask comes off easily because it doesn't dry as such as soak in. My skin felt smoother after using the mask. I'm not sure about younger, i feel the trail would need to be longer to determine that. In the 10 days of using the oil in conjunction with the mask I have no breakouts, so i think it may calm skin cells as my skin has been nice and clear. The only thing that let the product down slightly would be the packaging. It is a bit old fashioned for me. Also i would like to see the mask in a glass jar as this is better for recycling. I don't see a need for a box around the outside of a jar either.

I have never actually used a face mask like this one before so was excited about trialling this product. I have been using the Rosehip oil daily and wanted to use them together.

So as with the packaging for the oil I thought that packaging for this mask was a little "old fashioned", the colouring and the rose - however it wouldn't put m e off buying it now that I have tried it :) It is pretty and does catch the eye I guess.

It comes in a plastic jar which is easy to undo and do up, it doesn't have the plastic top thing that some creams have which is fine (in fact probably easier in my opinion). The texture is nice and creamy and smooth and smells nice, not too strong and overpowering.

I cleansed my face well with an organic cream cleanser as I normally do, then patted dry and applied a decent amount of the mask, left it for about 15 mins as instructed them washed off with warm water and a wash cloth. The result was my skin did feel instantly smoother and sort of refreshed :)

I can't say much more as I need to use it for a bit longer to get more benefits I would say, but I am interested to see if it helps with the collagen production as I definitely need that as I'm not far off 50!!

I like this face mask and I will continue to use it along with the Rosehip oil and believe that this will improve my skin with continued use.

I was super excited to try out this face mask because the product claims were calling my name. I mean, who doesn't want smoother, younger looking skin?!

As always, I'll start with the packaging. I really like the combination of the white tub with the pink labels and the thin gold strip around the lid which adds a little touch of sophistication. The mask itself is white and looks like any typical cream product. You get 100g of product in the tub which will last a while as a little goes a long way! It also has a soft rose scent which I quite liked.

I would say the consistency of the mask if perfect. Its not thick and gluggy but not thin and watery either. When I first applied the mask I instantly felt a cooling sensation followed by some light tingling which didn't last long.

After washing off the mask my skin felt soft, plump and hydrated. Unfortunately my skin is currently breaking out due to another product that I have been trialing in conjunction with this one so I can't comment on any change in texture just yet. But in saying that, I have noticed that I don't have as many milia as usual.

I will happily keep using this mask in my search for smoother, younger looking skin!

I often stay away from face masks as I find them overly-drying for my dehydrated skin. However, I was incredibly excited to try this one as it formulated more to hydrate and nourish your skin, rather than dry out and detox.

This difference was immediately noticeable, as the mask has a consistency a lot more similar to moisturiser than the thick clay mask I'm used to. It spreads incredibly easily and has a lovely Rosey aroma. As you leave the mask, it feels very soft and doesn't go hard and crack.

Afterwards, my face felt soft and smooth and looked noticeably brighter! I will definitely continue to use this product!
