First impression was the package makes it look cheap. When i open it the tub with the label makes it look and feel cheap. Try to use as it said and didnt like it at all. Feels like a really thick moisturiser, not a face mask

Reviews
Thicker than expected for a face mask which made it a little trickier to apply with an applicator. Stinging sensation about 2-3mins into application. Unfortunately was unable to remove as was attached to the laptop for an urgent work call. Stinging sensation did decrease after the 5min mark but not a very pleasant experience. However skin did feel more hydrated so I will give it that. Did not experience rose smell that others reviews mention.
This literally looks and smell like a grandma. I think(?) it’s good but I have only been able to use it 3 times. The screw lid opens to reveal a lift- pad to keep product in which I liked. The mask looks exactly like moisturiser and it feels weird putting it on like a mask. It soaks into your skin and after 20 mins it’s almost see through. Once washed off your face does feel extremely soft but also firm and redness has gone down... which is probably they one factor why I like this mask. Other than this result I have not noticed anything else I have really loved. I tried looking online at the price point as the packaging looks extremely cheap and I was nervous to let it sit on my skin for 20 mins. It is a nice ‘pamper’ addition and does give instant result so I give it a 3/5.
Tips: I did experience tingling on my face when applied- given that I have extremely sensitive skin. It only lasted for a minute and there was no sign of allergic reaction when taken off.
I’m grateful to have received this mask to try as an added bonus to the oil.
I liked the smell of this mask, it had a nice floral scent.
Mask was pretty easy to apply, you can do this by using your fingers or a flat brush which I chose to use.
Once applied to clean skin, it took approx 15-20 mins to dry completely which is pretty standard for a face mask.
After washing it off it did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. I didn’t notice increased collagen etc, however I believe I would need to use the mask for longer to be able to notice a difference.
I've tried a lot of hydrating/recovery face masks. A LOT. And this one didn't stand out at all.
Yes, it felt nice and silky upon application. And I'm stoked that there is plenty of product to last a long time. But it really didn't do anything special.
I felt moderately moisturised after rinsing it off, but because you wash it off your face you ultimately sill have to apply your usual moisturiser afterwards. With sheet masks, you can pat any excess product into your skin and keep benefiting from it overnight.
The ingredients are outstanding, except for the addition of menthol. Menthol is usually added to give you a tingling sensation, making you think 'ooh this product must be working!' But if you've got sensitive skin, this will be really irritating.
Overall, I'm always thrilled to support NZ made brands, but I won't be repurchasing sadly.
I was lucky enough to be selected for the trial team. The mask comes in a white plastic tub which doesn't feel the most luxurious. It is white and has the texture of the thick moisturiser and is faintly rose-scented. It does moisturise but I feel it leaves a film which I'm not a huge fan of. I would continue using it, but probably won't repurchase.
This face mask consistancy very much resembles a thick face cream. I applied it very afternoon and left for 20 mins. Once removed my skin did feel like there was residue on the surface but was very smooth to the touch and my face looked very subtle and less red. I would continue to use this product as I'm always a fan of a good moisturising face mask.
I found this an unusual face mask. The white creamy texture was not what I was expecting. When applied to the face it looks like a very thick layer of moisturizer that hasn’t been absorbed.
However, it left my skin very soft when I removed it. My skin felt quite plump, and when coupled with the Alpine rosehip oil it was a great results.
I found it stayed quite tacky and didn’t dry, which I was not used to.
It had very little scent which can be nice, but I found the texture; and the very white colour coupled with the lack of scent to almost be a little sterile and I felt as if I was applying a medicinal product rather than a face mask.
I will continue to use the tub as I liked the effect the product had, but just think it could have a little more wow factor.
Tips: Coupled with the rosehip oil, it’s a dream!
Got to trial this thanks to the BR team. Packaging matches the rest in this line. Rose pink box with a rose image on it. 100g pottle. Looks nice not cheap. Made in NZ, Paraben free. Ingredients contain Organic Rosehip Oil, Sweet Almond Oil & Collagen.
Has a slight rose scent, not overpowering which is nice. Product is creamy easy to spread. I managed to use this a few times during this trial. I wouldn't say my skin looks younger but definitely looks and feels softer. Maybe I need to use it longer to see the full benefits of this product.
I don't typically like cream masks as they don't do anything though this one did. For me i'd use during the colder seasons of Autumn and Winter for hydration and moisture. I would consider repurchasing in future.
This goopy face mask is pretty average. I am usually a sucker for a face mask but I wasn't excited by this one. It was a white gel/goo consistency which required a thick layer for applications, which means it would be used up very quickly. Washing it off after the recommended 15 minutes wasn't easy either. It felt hydrating once I washed it off but I wouldn't reach for it. I am unsure of the price point as I am a product tester but I wouldn't purchase this again.
What I did like about it was the packaging. It is in a little white tub with a screw top lid and a product cover to ensure it doesn't dry up and overflow.
Tips: Apply to clean, dry skin.
