I love the concept behind Antipodes products - natural New Zealand products, but unfortunately the Antipodes Juliet Skin Brightening Gel Cleanser did nothing special for my skin.
The slightly runny gel formula comes in a large 200ml squeezable bottle which is easy to use and good value for money. It smells fruity and fresh but the smell doesn't linger on to your face after you wash it off.
The cleanser, on my skin which is on the drier side, make my skin slightly drier after use which is not ideal, and also after using it for 3 months I did not see a difference in the brightness of my skin. The reason why I stopped using the product is that whilst I was about 2 and a half months into using it, my skin became irritated (not sure what it was from) and I developed small raised bumps (not acne) on my cheeks and the cleanser didn't do much to settle them. I was forced to move on to a different product (Clarins daily energiser cleansing gel) which managed to get rid of them! I am so disappointed that I didn't love this product more as I love Antipodes! However, I would recommend the product to those with normal, problem free skin wanting a good, basic New Zealand cleanser.
This cleanser is a good mild one. I use it in the morning and it smells delicious. The consistency does seem to vary, I believe due to the manuka honey. I am unsure if I would buy it again simply due to its price point.
Tips: It does seem to stain cleansing brushes
