I used this particular product when I was younger. I found it was great for my younger acne breakout prone skin. Other brands really dried my skin out but this cleanser cleaned away all the dirt ect without striping away all the natural goodness too.

Tips: Always cleanse skin for a few minutes its soo important and I believe to get the most out of a cleanser it really needs to be used for longer .
I love Antipodes products I really do but after spending around $40 on this cleanser I was expecting something wonderful. Unfortunately it wasn't the case. It has a very runny consistency and I find it stains face cloths brown. It has a beautiful earthy/honey smell but I feel like I had to use a lot to get the "clean feeling". It comes in a handy plastic bottle with push lid so it comes out cleanly but if you're using your hands it tends to seep through and when using it on a face cloth it leaves a brown mark even after washing(albeit very subtle) I personally wouldn't buy this cleanser again as I feel I could get better for the same price. Some may love this cleanser and it does brighten the skin a little but for $35-$40 I expected more
This cleanser has a very nice fresh smell to it, it is a thin brown liquid. You only need a little bit to cleanse your face. I did notice that it can sometimes be quite messy to use if you use too much. It was a good cleanser, I did not notice that it brightened my skin but it definitely left my skin feeling clean and helped with breakouts.
I have used this on and off for years. I love it. smells amazing, lasts a surprisingly long time and does a great job at removing makeup and cleansing my sensitive skin. Skin feels clean and soft afterwards and not dry at all. I do find it a bit pricey at $39 for a cleanser which is why I don't use it all of the time, but i always find it lasts very well as it is 200ml and a little goes a long way
ive only just gotten this from what ive seen my skin loves it, gentle on my skin dont over dry it my dark spots are starting to lighten dark areas of skin has gotten lighter i will buy this again definatly
I usually don't use a lot of gel or foam cleansers but I gave this a try. And I am pleased that I did. It's not a really sudsy foam but enough that you feel clean. I usually used it as my second cleanse at night, or as a single cleanse in the morning. I can't speak for the brightening purposes though as I don't think I saw a change. But my skin felt clean and it did not block my pores or cause irritation (I've had some terrible reactions in the past).
I have read lots of reviews here and when I was up for a new cleanser I decided to give this one a try. I am so happy I did.
This gel cleanser is natural and made in New Zealand, awesome. It comes in a 200ml bottle which can be recycled and the price is $40.00.
My evening beauty routine is the favourite time of my day and using this gel makes it even more lovely.
The gel is a light and a bit runny so be careful not too waste any down the drain. You dont need a lot to get an amazing result. Always wet your face first, I have found this way works best for me. In a circular motion massage into your face and wash away the days make up. This gel will leave your face feeling clean and fresh and not dry at all.
The fragrance of this gel is so fresh and apple like
I do have dark spots on the right side of my face ( probably from driving with the sun on that side of my face) so I spend a bit more time massaging there and I have noticed a slight lightening of those spots. I feel with continued use, they could hopefully fade even more.
When I first bought the Juliet cleanser from Antipodes I umm'ed and ahh'ed for a bit as I'd never spent very much on cleansers before and this was slightly pricier than what I was used to, but I got a sample pottle from a Hardy's Health store and fell in love with it.
The first thing I must say about this cleanser is the smell. Oh my god, the smell! It is so delicious smelling, but not perfumy or over-powering at all. It is a sweet, natural, fruity smell and it is absolutely gorgeous.
The texture is like any other gel cleanser - I love how refined and well made this product is despite being natural and wholesome - it's really up there with the usual commercial products.
I suppose the only complaint I could make would be about the packaging. It would be good if the bottle had a pump, but this wasn't a big enough issue to tarnish my experience with the product. You only need a very small amount of the cleanser anyway, so it's possible that a pump may give too much product.
I do believe It lives up to it's claim of being 'skin brightening'; it's certainly not the kind of thing that you use once and all of a sudden your complexion is stunning, but with everyday use it definitely has a brightening effect and makes skin nice and dewy and glowy looking.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality, gently cleanser. It reminds me, I should get some more myself!
Tips: You really don't need much product each use
My mum bought this in a massive Antipodes haul one day and as she is already on the drier skin side, it left noticeable dry patches on her face. I have more normal to oily skin so inherited the bottle. Personally I don't think it was worth the money and wouldn't buy myself. I felt that it dried my skin out a bit which is good for my oiler skin but definitely didn't seem to brighten my skin. I'm not a big fan of foaming cleansers but it removed my makeup well which I liked and did leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. I love that it is natural and NZ made but would rather try other products before purchasing this myself.
Tips: Good for oily skin types
this face wash is quite ruuny ,but very foamy so its kind of worth the money , it reduces the spots very well ,controls the oil very well ,natural and non irritating ,the only drawback is that i found it not that deep cleansing for the pores .
