Antipodes Juliet Daily Balancing Gel Cleanser

I started using the Juliet Cleanser when I used it while staying at a friends house. Suffice to say, I went out and bought a bottle the very next day. One of the best things about this cleanser, is it actually removes make-up! When I wash my face at night, I don't get any excess make up on my face-cloth. My skin has cleared up while using it and after 2 years, would not use anything else.

This looked like such a wonderful product and I was so excited to use it. However after using it my skin was really red for around about an hour, and no make up could cover it. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend you be careful when using this product

This cleanser have a really nice consistency and foams up easily. The smell is quite fresh and nature-ish as is expected with antipodes skin are. I didn't really notice my skin looking much brighter than usual. The screw top bottle was a bit fiddly in the shower but the cap inside helped to make sure only a little bit of product comes out at once.

I LOOOOVE Antipodes products so I am very sad to find that I my skin did not like this cleanser! It smelt wonderful and felt nice on my skin but after I'd finished washing it off my face was bright red, and stayed that way for the next 30-60mins :( So so disappointed. So be very careful if you have sensitive skin. If you don't have sensitive skin, this will probably be a really lovely product for you :)

This cleanser is gorgeous - it cleanses my skin without giving that dry and tight feeling. I use it in the evening after taking off my makeup. The smell is really refreshing. It lathers up nicely but not excessively.

It may seem expensive ($39 at Farmers when I bought it) but you only need a little bit and it lasts for ages. Definitely going to repurchase this!

I am working my way through my second bottle of this cleanser. You don't need much, it is a brilliant cleanser which is gentle but thorough. You don't end up with your skin feeling tight and dry at the end of the process. The packaging is good, the plastic bottle makes it easy to get all the product out. It lasts for ages and is good value.

When it comes to skincare, the price is something that rarely effects my decision to purchase or not to purchase a product. Antipodes Juliet Cleanser is divine to say the least. It has such a lovely smell to it and that's a bonus in itself as there is nothing worse than products with a not so pleasant smell.

At first I was confused about it being in a squeezey type bottle but soon appreciated it as it was a great way of controlling how much product you use at a time.

A little definitely goes a long way, meaning that it will last for a long time because you don't need to use as much therefore it is worth the money you pay for it! It's lathers up so nicely in your hands and is gentle yet very thorough in getting rid of makeup etc.

After using it, it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and clean. This is definitely a product I will continue to purchase and has made me excited to try more products from the Antipodes range

I wanted to try a cleanser that was natural in the hopes that it would not be as harsh on my skin. I find that the Juliet cleanser does just that, It is soft, vibrant smelling and refreshing. It does it's job as a cleanser (although I have used better) it still gives a really nice clean finish. I would use again on the pure face that it is natural and better for my skin than a lot of other cleansers out there.

Unfortunatley, this is not what i wanted it to be. After switching to this cleanser and giving it time for my skin to get used to it, i still cant believe how bad my skin has got. I did all the right things by slowly changing my skin care routine, but after 6 wks or so of using this (prior to using other anitpodes products) my skin is much worse than it was before i started using it. I understand that everyone is different, but im just really not too impressed. I will however say that It smells amazing! And it didnt make my skin any oily-er. The price is good for a natural NZ product and i would say if i had used it till bottle was finished it would have lasted about 3-4months. so again, no smiley face.

After my favourite supermarket cleanser was discontinued, I was looking for something to replace it with and was not having much luck. While having coffee with a friend, I commented on how nice her skin looked…she said she was hooked on Antipodes. I purchased the Juliet Skin Brightening Gel Cleanser from Farmers that afternoon and have been using ever since.

I love the smell, it is nice and refreshing – especially in the morning. At first I did not like the squeeze bottle but as mentioned in another review it is very economical as a little goes a long way and only a small amount comes out at a time. It lathers up surprisingly well, and is fine for a ‘double cleanse’ at the end of the day without being too harsh.

My skin tone has started to improve, and hopefully will continue to do so over the next few weeks.

It is definitely a little bit more then I usually spend on a everyday cleanser, but it seems to be lasting well and because of this will most likely keep using.

Finally a 'natural' product that actually works, with science to back it up, and it is a NZ brand too :)
