Antipodes Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream

Another good eye cream from Antipodes, smells like honey although I don’t really think eye creams need added fragrance but it’s light and non-irritating for me nonetheless. I don’t really notice much of a brightening effect when using this but it does make my eyes feel soothed and hydrated. I also have the Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold eye cream which I prefer to this as it has a slight colour correcting effect and doesn’t have added fragrance, but overall I really like this eye cream too.

I am a big fan of NZ made products, and have been wanting to try a product from Antipodes for a while, but I normally just buy cheaper supermarket beauty products, so it has taken me a while to finally try an Antipodes product. I chose the skin brightening eye cream because I felt that the skin under my eyes could do with some love, and I prefer glass tubs with cream over plastic containers. The cream has a slightly yellow tinge to it rather than being white, which is not particularly attractive, but also not off putting. The smell is also neither nice, nor unpleasant, and the cream is easily absorbed by the skin. I feel like the cream is nice and hydrating, but I have not noticed any brightening. Overall, to me this feels just like a pretty average eye cream, and I would have expected something more from Antipodes, especially given the price. There is nothing wrong with the cream, but for me it’s just nothing special and I will go back to a regular supermarket product.

The only eye cream I have found so far that I can use. Every other one I have tried irritates my eyes. This one doesn’t! And it smells great as well!

I am always looking for the ideal eye cream for myself, so far this one is pretty close. It comes in a cute 30ml glass tub with screw top lid, the cream is a beige coloured medium thick consistency. Hardly any smell (honey) and sinks into skin very quickly. Does not irritate my eyes at all, and my eyes are quite sensitive and prone to itching and watering. Dark circles are slightly diminished and my eyes seem brighter. It's a New Zealand made product and contains some lovely natural ingredients. Would recommend.

Received in my BBBE box Xmas 22? An NZ brand that is cruelty free. I have tried other items from their range but never an eye cream, was excited to use this.

Cute 30ml glass potties. Yellow tinted cream. Smells of Manuka honey, comforting scent. Thick cream consistency, you don't need to apply much!

Instantly brightens eye area. Under eye skin also looks smoother and moisturised. It's a real treat every time I use this. Very happy with this product. Will take some time to finish this up, but would strongly consider repurchasing.

I love the boxed packaging which show cases NZ Native landscape. The beautiful design continues on to the glass jar. The glass jar has a screw top lid and when opened, you cannot escape the light fragrance of manuka honey. You could almost eat it. There is a lot of information on the box including a huge list on ingredients.

Application is simple by lightly patting the smallest amount of Antipodes Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream on to your skin under and around your eyes.

This absorbs quickly and keeps the eye area hydrated. It is on the pricier side but a little really does go a long way.

This is hands down the best eye cream I've ever tried. I received this as part of my BBBE and having never use Antipodes I wasn't sure what to expect but this product is fantastic!

It comes in a beautiful green floral printed box with the same design printed on the jar. The product itself is a thick creamy consistency with a pale golden colour. It has a unique but pleasant scent.

I simply dab on the eye cream morning and night as part of my routine and have been amazed at the results. Fine lines in my inner eye have disappeared. The bags under my eyes have reduces and brightened so they are no longer a dark grey colour. It's made a significant difference in how my face looks overall. I will definitely be purchasing again!

I’m always torn between natural versus cosmetic/chemical skincare as it’s often hard to find a natural product that I would buy again. Well ladies this has to be it!

A divinely fragranced pot of silky smooth creamy eye treatment that glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly. I find this eye cream on the oily side which means you don’t need as much on your fingertip and it keeps hydrating all through the day.

The aroma I get when I use this is overwhelmingly honey of which Manuka is one of the main ingredients so for me personally it’s pleasant. The list of ingredients is quite long on the cute green jar but when you read them they’re all pretty much natural oils or extracts.

I would definitely buy this one again as I recently did a skin evaluation online and it said amongst other ladies of a similar age (late 40s) my eyes were my best feature in terms of ageing effects. I’m unsure whether it has a brightening effect though like the claims on the box.

The only reason why I wouldn’t give this a 5 is that it’s fairly pricey, hopefully it’s in the vault when I next need a jar.

This isn't my favourite Antipodes product, but it's still nice to use and it is a positive addition to the skin care routine.

Its really light, really soothing and really lovely to use. I found it so hydrating around the eye area, especially in the evening after these long summer days.

I didn't enjoy the fragrance. I find fragrance eye care a bit weird.

I received this in the Christmas Beauty box, and I will definitely look to try more Antipodes products.
