After using Art A Face's Intense Hydrating Mask, and absolutely adoring it, I was so excited to crack into their Gentle Polishing Cleanser, especially as I'd been on the lookout for a replacement for my EA Intervene cleanser, which had been discontinued, and the description of the Art A Face cleanser ticked all my boxes. Unfortunately it has not ticked my all important 'adore' box.
Like all Art A Face products it's a simple looking tube of product, which is squeezed out from the bottom, a design I really like as it ensures you get out every last drop of the thick beady creamy product. It has a lightly perfumed scent, but nothing overpowering.
I use this cleanser before bed, and I find it does an adequate job of removing makeup, although my makeup is usually very lightly applied, so I would expect all cleansers to do this. The beads are quite rough feeling, rougher than I thought they would be based on the 'gently polishing' description, and I don't feel that they melt into my skin at all, and to be honest I haven't noticed a more clarified appearance. I've also had a few more pimples since switching to this cleanser.
Overall, I'm not in love with this. I'll finish using it as it's not horrible, and I'm project panning so kind of feel I have to. I was lucky to get it on special from OnceIt for around $15 - $20, and at that price I'm not overly disappointed, but if I'd paid full RRP I would be.
