Avene Eluage Gel Review

I’m really impressed with this product. I hadn’t used anything from this brand in a while but thought I’d give it another chance as the price point is reasonable and I was making an online order from Life Pharmacy anyway. I’m glad I did. The tube design is great. It is easy to get an appropriate amount and discourages wastage. The gel itself feels nice on your fingertip and has a really soft and soothing feeling when applying around the eye. I did notice some firming of my fine lines, but would still want to rely on something a bit more heavy duty to compliment this. Overall, I would buy again and would recommend.

I purchased some of this at the end of summer. It comes in a small tube and seems quite expensive, however you don't use much. I use less than a ten cent piece to cover my laugh lines, my frowny lines, around my mouth and most of my neck. A pleasant apricot colour with no discernable scent, this form of Retinyl is used AFTER your usual evening moisturiser. As it is a form of Vitamin A, it is recommended that this is used only at night as it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. For this reason, I wouldn't use this during summer. I have noticed a slight decrease in the wrinkles, and I have the impression that this would work best long term. The biggest improvement that I can see is the hyper pigmentation on my face is very slowly evening out. Avene is a great brand that I find really suits my ssensitive skin.
