Alpine Silk Bee Venom Nourishing Face Mask Reviews

Just the idea of putting bee venom on my face intrigued me! I get a couple of bee stings a summer, so knew I wasn't overly allergic to bee products. And my skin is just in the over 50's bracket now, so can always do with help.

Alpine Skin Bee Venom Nourishing Face Mask seemed the perfect fit and claimed to plump skin, reducing fine lines, act as a natural exfoliator, enable my skin to stretch and be elastic and finally help in cell renewal. Big call.

I undertook a patch test just in case. I wasn't sure how often you can use the product, as this isn't stated anywhere other than use "regularly", so undertook a once a day for a week trial. It was a nice regime to get into while relaxing at the end of the day.

What I thought was going to be your typical large container with a small amount of product, turned out to be a generous 50g of face mask. Upon opening the a box, a little spatula fell out ....I mean tiny little. I didn't actually use it - instead using washed fingers to apply a layer all over my face (didn't actually go as far down as my neck) after washing with my normal product.

Possibly I went a little too close to my eyes, as they did water a little which was surprising, so kept that knowledge on board for next time I applied. The mask had a cold tingly feeling as I applied, which was a refreshing feeling to the skin.

As the fifteen minutes passed, the mask soaked into the skin and my skin became a little tighter. Washing off with warm water was an easy process.

Immediately after the first use my skin did feel softer but I was keen to see if there was a long term effect. I am glad to say, after using for seven days, my skin is definitely more moisturised and plumper than before. A small overly dry patch I monitored, has significantly improved in moisture. I truly believe my skin overall appearance has improved with use of this mask on a daily basis.

Although Alpine Silk Bee Venom Nourishing Face Mask is proudly made in New Zealand, and I would like to continue using it, I may need to reduce usage frequency for budget reasons. A quick online search shows prices range from $68.95 full retail price to $33.00 duty free (great time to stock up!)

Love love love the packaging it was like a golden orb. Probably the most lovely skincare packaging i've ever seen.

Never used a Bee Venom product before so I was very intrigued.

Product smell very slightly florally which was pleasant and now overpowering.

I scooped out a decent amount it has the consistency of thick whipped cream.

I left it on for about 15 minutes and after about 10 minutes your skin gets this gorgeous 'tingle' going on.

I washed it off and my skin just felt amazing, plumped and glowing.

I have been using Bee Venom Face Mask for over a week now. I’ve been using it daily, and I can notice the difference even after one day of using the Bee Venom Face Mask. did a patch test before I apply the Bee Venom Face Mask to my face, just to make sure I’m not allergic to it. I then apply a thin amount of the mask on my face, avoiding the eyes area. The face mask will feel cooling, like applying mints to your face. Very refreshing feeling. Then I have my ‘me’ time for about 15 minutes then I wash it off. My skin feels smoother, firmer and rejuvenate. It’s definitely worth to try this face mask, and you will notice the difference almost immediately.

The masks I usually gravitate to are ones that add lots of hydration to my dehydrated skin. What appealed to me about this mask was that it was more focused on adding life to dull and stressed skin. First off the packaging is just beautiful - one of those ones that you keep on the bench. On opening the product itself is a white cream that has a faint but pleasant scent. The consistency isn't heavy - much like a night cream. It took a couple of tries to find the right amount to put on my face and I erred towards a heavier application, leaving it on for between 15-20 minutes each time. It feels cold and the active ingredients feel very slightly tingly around the nose on first application, but soon stopped. It was easy to remove with a warm washcloth. I found that my skin did look visibly brighter after each use and I was very surprised by this. My skin felt smooth and almost lightly exfoliated by the acids in the manuka honey. I was very impressed. It's now part of my routine. I will use this once a week (as I think any more would be a bit too much for the skin). I do think that this is very fairly priced. I have purchased similar sized product, honey based (but for hydration) at the same price point. I recommend this product for people that have stressed and dull skin and need a pick me up (I mean who doesn't?).

I've tried a few bee venom products before and have not been very impressed. Am I impressed with this product? YES I SURE AM! It does exactly what it claims to do. I've been using this every second day. As soon as it's applied you can feel the tingling and the warming sensation, which I assume is the increase in blood circulation working it's magic. I can definitely see and feel my skin looks firmer, plumper and more radiant, not to mention really moisturised and hydrated.

The packaging is simple and attractive, and the little round gold jar is pretty. It comes with a little spatula to make applying a breeze. You really can be quite generous as this is a mask. The creme itself is a nice consistency and you can smell the honey. There's no reason not to use this everyday to keep your face glowing!

I love this product! It is super easy to use - smooth to apply and feels great on my skin. As soon as I applied it my skin started to cool and tingle slightly- it wasn’t displeasant as a matter a fact it felt great. I left it on for 15 minutes and then washed it off. My skin felt smooth and clean.

I loved this Face Mask. I used it every second night, slathered it on, lay on my bed listening to relaxing music, then washed it off after around 20 minutes and whalah!

When I first put the mask on my face, it gives the sensation of making the skin feel very cold, so you know its doing something. After about 20 minutes, most of it has soaked into the skin and I used a warm flannel to remove the excess.

My skin was left soooo soft. I found after a few times, I didn't need any night time moisturiser on my face after it. And in the morning my face was still soft and smooth and moisturised. It also gives my face a nice dewy glow in the mornings which I'm loving. The cream is quite thick but easy to apply and smells gorgeous - a slight hint of honey. It comes in a lovely gold round pot/jar. Very classy.

Without a doubt this product works and I will continue to buy it once this pot runs out.

I really enjoyed using this. The thick creamy texture felt so hydrating. I was surprised by the cool soothing feel on my skin which did make my skin feel energised. The fragrance was light and refreshing. Once I removed it I could see that my fine lines were less visible and I had more radiance which was great to see. I could even see it through the makeup I wear. I was however, disappointed that the instructions weren't printed on the pot and it didn't specify how often to use it but I would definitely recommend this and am looking forward to buying my next one.

Where do i buy more?!. I have trailed this product over the past 2 weeks and lets just say its now part of my weekly skincare routine.... i am obsessed!.

the mask has a very light honey/rose like smell which is quite pleasant and none invasive. The mask itself has a consistency of a thick creamy moisturizer and is super easy to apply as it warms up to your skin . You also receive a little spatula for application which would be handy for people with longer nails.

when you first apply the mask within a few minutes you feel a cold tingling sensation but it is comfortable enough to not leave you feeling irritated. As the mask dries into your skin the tingling sensation does fade and your skin starts feeling a little firmer.

when removing the mask i had no redness and my skin was instantly smoother and more plump looking. Since using this product a few more times my skin is looking a lot more radiant and fine lines are defiantly less visible.

the packaging is very luxurious looking. The only down fall would be the plastic packaging is quite bulky and heavy . If your someone like me who takes absolutely everything you can think of in your beauty bag when travelling overseas it maybe better for you to depot some of this product. Also the product itself has no printed instructions. The information is only on the box. But this does not discourage me from loving this product.

The mask is amazing. I am not sure how often you are supposed to use it but I am using every other night as it makes my skin feel so good.

I like the tingling sensation as you feel your skin actually tightening up.

Once removed my skin feel firmer and smoother.
