Bio Oil

I brought this after hearing it was good for scars and I had 3rd degree burns on my fingers. Comes in a plastic bottle that's clear so you can see the oil it has a lovely pinky colour and the smell is very nice to I used it for a couple of weeks daily and ended up with no scarring and nice soft hands. The only thing I found was it can get messy would be better with a pump so the oil doesn't get all over the bottle and everything else. I will purchase more love it just as an overall moisturizer for the whole body.

I'm a big fan of body oil, but I wasn't overly impressed with this one. In all fairness, my sister had some success treating scars with this, but from research of the ingredients I'm not sure that Bio-oil would be any better than other body oils at treating scars. Certainly when I was pregnant my doctor said stretch marks are genetic and there is no product I could use to prevent them - despite the extensive Bio-oil advertising to the contrary.

Basically this oil is fine, and will help moisturise your skin and aid healing of scars, but I don't think it works any better than cheaper body oils.

Well it hasnt helped with any of my scars or stretch marks unfortunatly. It is good if you have dry skin however but not that good that id rush out to buy it again if i ran out.

This product is quite expensive for the amount you do get, It doesnt really give the results wanted in first instance but they do come eventually after a couple bottles later

I brought this to try and help reduce some scars on my hand, in particular help reduce the appearance of a rather large and noticable one on the top of my hand. It wasn't that afforable to start with but I had high hopes for what it could do for me. I used it once a day for a month on the scarred areas and apart from stopping my skin feeling dry it didn't really do much else. I had a slight change to my large scar however and not a good one at that. The scar tissue went so hard! It was almost like the oil made it solidfy, it was quite weird. The packaging looks abit budget in my opinion too, as well as the cheap looking plastic container its in, for the price I would expect something a little nicer. But overall pretty dissapointing, i chucked it in the bin in the end.

This product goes a long way so apply sparingly. It is a little oily but does absorb into the skin fairly quickly. It is too early to say if it will do the job of reducing my scar as I have only used it for three weeks. It was good value when on a buy one get on free promotion. Overall smell is pleasant and packaging good. I would probably recommend to people with very dry skin.

I didn't see any reduction in scaring or stretch marks the only bonus was my skin was smooth and hydrated. But for the price and using it every day hoping to see results I was disappointed. I can get smooth and hydrated skin from moisturiser alone. I wouldn't re purchase this. I will occasionally use the one I already have though (as I got a few bottles) lol

Used it continuously for about a year, barely saw any meaningful results for a scar that wasn't that old. It did make me break out if applied to my face, as the product is quite oily. The product does go along way, so no need to buy a huge bottle. It did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated, but didn't appear to fade my scar. Would not recommend to a friend.

Somehow I have so many tiny bottles of this stuff lying around the house! I'm not a fan of Bio Oil - I just don't think it works. I've tried sticking to it a few times over the last couple of years for minor stretch marks and small scars, and it hasn't done anything. I also find that it isn't that pleasant to use - I'm not a huge fan of the scent and it can get quite greasy. I wish this worked for me, but past experience would unfortunately indicate otherwise

I've seen a lot of reviews for after people already have scars etc that they want to get rid of. I on the other hand use it to heal up cracked skin so that it doesn't end up scarring. I get dermatitis on my hands and feet, and my skin can get very very dry. Bio oil helps it heal up quicker - don't get me wrong, it's not a miracle cure, and it is very expensive, so I use it very sparingly and only when my dermatitis gets really bad.
