Bio Oil

I do believe it does what it says it does (as in reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks etc) however I dislike how oily and greasy it leaves my skin feeling, it just does not seem to want to absorb completely, which makes me feel gross.. Ive only used it a handful of times, however each time ive found myself grabbing a towel and wiping the excess off (which doesn't help much) or jumping back into the shower to clean it off. I personally don't like it, however I know a lot of people swear by it.. Its really something you have to try yourself and make your own opinion on.

I used this on my acne scars - oh to be a teenager again! This not only didnt do anything to the existing scars it caused me to have oily skin and I managed to get more spots! This did nothing to the texture or look of my skin other than making it shiny and oily - yuck! Chucked this out after about 2 months use

I used this through my first pregnancy after being told it would help against stretch marks forming. I applied it twice a day and spent a small fortune on it only to find that i still got covered with stretch marks. I still continued to use it in the hope it would help minimise the appearance of the marks but with no great results. An expensive, oily waste of time for me though i do know people who swear by it. Not a fan.

I used this when I was first pregnant with my first child it didn't stop or prevent strech marks from appearing.

I have some bad scarring on my arms, and was told that Bio Oil was the absolute best product to use on them. However three months later I have not seen the difference I was hoping for. Yes they have gone down a little bit, but I didn't find this nearly as successful as everyone told me it would be. It is really oily, and it takes a while before the skin you have applied it to loses that horrible shiny look. It does smell nice though, so I guess that is an upshot. I will keep using it until someone recommends something better though.

I started using bio oil on some scars and to be honest i dont think it did anything. My skin felt oily even when i rubbed it in well. It is over priced also for what you get.

I decided to give this a go as everyone had been telling me about it. It honestly did nothing for me at all. It didn't reduce my stretch marks at all and you can still use the smallest amount and it still gets everywhere. Personally I believe Bio Oil is overrated and there are much better alternatives out there.

Used this to try and combat acne scarring and stretch marks for a while. Discontinued use as I saw no results what so ever and it made me break out on the area I was using it on face. Perhaps this would work better as a preventative stretch mark treatment when pregnant, however for the price I'm sure there are better alternatives.

I tend to use it during the Summer months when my legs are exposed. I do motorcross, so over the years have had some quite deep scars on my body from it. Bio Oil is my go to "fix it" oil. It really does help with repairing the skin and toning out the uneven skin tone.

It's very light and easy to apply. Only a small amount is needed to cover the affected areas, leaving the product to last you a long period of time. Bio Oil leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft.

I do think that it is pricey, the Warehouse sometimes have specials on it, so look out for these deals.

Comes in a see through bottle, i transfer the contents into a small spray bottle, this makes it super easy to apply to the area in need, and will allow just the right amount, as the bottle tends to give more than is needed.

I would recommend this product to all.

I was an awkwardly tall teenager growing up. 6ft tall and curvy with stretch marks coming out my ears from rapid growth so I spent alot of my time covering my body so the stretch marks couldn't be seen.

I never knew about Bio Oil until I was in to my 20s when my mama passed me a bottle for my birthday thinking it may help my self esteem if they were to fade a bit. I was in heaven after reading what it could do so of course I rubbed some on as soon as I opened it.

It's very oily but it's called Bio OIL so I knew what I was in for. It doesn't absorb in to the skin like I thought it would. It kind of just sits on the surface but of course I needed to give it a fair try because my self esteem is worth more than one go at it.

After three weeks of continuous use I noticed a definite improvement in the colour of my stretch marks and began gaining some confidence back. I continue to use it to this day and all through my pregnancy and am happy to report that my stretch marks are just white streaks now and not visible unless you look up close. My confidence is back in force and I am a true believer in Bio Oil!!!
