Bio Oil

I wouldn't use this product again, I tried it on stretch marks for quite a few months with no change. I feel like it just sits on top of the skin and doesn't soak in. After doing some research I found that it contains ingredients which aren't good for you so decided to stop using it.

My Mum bought this for me for my first pregnancy. I used it all the time, I can't stand the smell now because I associate it with morning sickness. But even using it religiously I still ended up with stretch marks. When I had to have surgery I thought I would use it on the fresh scar, but again, it didn't do anything. Really don't feel that it is up to the hype.

Brought the large bottle of this a few years ago as I have stretch marks on my thighs, I had high expectations from what the packaging says but I was disappointed. I used it after showering everyday until it was empty and apart from making the stretch marks go white quicker (they all eventually do this anyway) it didn't do much at all. I wouldn't bother to use again.

I found Bio Oil to be greasy and I didn't like the smell. I think I have been over eager squirting it out of the bottle as well. Definitely has not deminished stretch marks or scarring. I know things don't happen overnight but I am on my second bottle and just feel like I am wasting my time.

Personally, I found that this done nothing for me. It did not do as promised - I used it quite a bit and it done nothing for my scars whatsoever. Very disappointed :(

I used this twice a day while pregnant to reduce the appearance of stretch marks after using for several months the only difference was my skin felt softer. Highly disappointed with this product as its not very cheap and does not do as stated

I bought this when my two year old split her forehead open. After the healing I was concerned about the huge scar on her forehead. It was red, raised and obvious. The pharmacy girls recommended this. It was a savior in a bottle. The scar diminished to a fine line very faint. She is now 11 and has never worried about it. We applied it twice a day for a couple of months.

I used it for a few months after my daughter was born after a recommendation from friends and family. It seemed to work for everyone else and it did eventually for me as well but not as effectively as I had hoped, my scars are still there and the oil itself blocked my pores easily and caused minor breakouts (on my stomach???). I used it daily after showering using a cotton pad to apply. The cotton pad absorbed a lot of the oil but it didn't seemed to affect the amount that got back onto your skin when applying so I didn't end up wasting any. It did however take a while to dry so I would be stuck for a while waiting to put my pants on so that I wouldn't stain my clothing. The months I spent doing this daily ritual didn't seem to get me anywhere very fast so I would assume that it would take longer to see effective results. I however became frustrated and discontinued using it due to the slow progress and the price.

I used this after my son was born and on other scars around my body, I didn't find that it made much difference,

Although it is great for dry skin, i ended up just using it on my legs and it left them feeling hydrated

I found it slightly greasy and took awhile to wash it off my hands or off the floor as it always squirted everywhere.

Great as a make up remover though, just make sure to throughly cleanse all the residue off your face
