Bio Oil

I have quite a lot of stretch marks so when I saw this hit the market I was over the moon with joy! I used almost two bottles and saw barely any results. I did on the other hand see results when I applyed to a new scar, the scar faded! After the two bottles were empty I did not continue using this product.

I couldn't wait to try this product when it first came out. I had a couple of surgery scars and stretchmarks that I wanted to get rid of. I used it daily for three months and waited for the magic to happen!! Alas, no change at all, surgery scars and stretchmarks were still there. This did however, make my skin in that area softer but this product certainly didn't deliver. Have not and will not be purchasing this product again.

i am in two minds over this product, i saw a slight difference in scars but really not as much as i was expecting. I have a feeeling that if you used this through pregnancy it might deter stretch marks.

So I purchased this product when I was was pregnant cause it was suppose to help with stretch marks and help keep your skin nice and smooth. Well I still have heaps of stretch marks and my skin just felt oily. Took forever to absorb into my skin and I'm pretty sure most of it ended up being absorbed by my clothes. You don't need much of the product so it lasts forever but I ended up throwing it away as I didn't like it.

I brought this when I was pregnant with my first child. I found it so oily even with using only a tiny bit. So I found stretch mark cream was so much easier and nicer to use than oil. It took hours to soak in and I was just felt feelin oily and yucky

I got this when it first came out and I was so dissapointed. It did nothing for my stretchmarks which fade over time anyway but the scars I have, it did nothing and as for evening out my skin, ha! made my skin break out in the worst pimples Ive had in my life. Waste of money

I remember when this came out, there was so much hype about it being a miracle product for stretch marks. I tried it but it was simply way too oily, difficult to absorb not to mention it did not live up to its claims. My stretch marks are still there, loud and proud. I hated the packaging, it was very easy to get too much product or to cause an oily mess. A pump applicator would be better (although this may have changed, it has been a few years since I've used it).

After my pregnancy, my belly is ravaged with stretch marks but I prefer to wear them loud and proud than to pin my hopes on a product like Bio-oil.

I had surgery and purchased bio-oil as I had heard that it would help to remove the scars but after using it multiple times a day for about 6 months, there has been little improvement and i still have my scars. It left my skin all oily and overall my skin is basically no different so sadly that was a big mistake ... should not have bought the large bottle.

I find Bio Oil very misleading. I hadn't heard/read any good reviews but still thought I would give it a try and sadly, I wasn't proved wrong. I have quiet bad acne scarring and a few stretch marks (so I would try anything that could possibly help) which have remained after using this product. I found it very oily, it didn't absorb well and was left feeling very disappointed. It does not do what it claims and I don't plan on repurchasing it again nor would I recommend it. I don't doubt the positive claims people have made about Bio Oil but for me, it just didn't do a thing.

I bought a bottle of this to help with stretch marks. The idea of having to apply a few times a day was a but daunting but I wanted good results so followed the instructions exactly. However, after 6 months of applying (and then running out of ) the bio oil, I couldn't really see any results. My skin was softer, but the stretch marks were still as visible as ever. I don't have scaring so was unable to test in that way too. However, I do believe that if you were to apply this to your skin regularly it would keep it soft and supple, and therefore would be good at preventing stretch marks, especially during pregnancy. I suppose results depend on the type of skin, how long the stretch marks have been there and a lot of other factors. Just not right for me :(
