After having two wonderful kids I am left with long nasty stretch marks all down my tummy. And had been looking for something to help tame them down or even get rid of them and was told to buy bio oil. Excitement washed over me thinking that this product would really improve them.But ive not seen any change in my stretch marks that I can tell.So im very disappointed .To be honest it just feels like im using normal baby oil.my skin feels soft and probably dehydrated like it says but thats about it really .The Smell is just ok .it says it contains the breakthrough ingredients purcellin oil.perhaps they need to put more in it ??? Or maybe if id known bout bio oil when I was pregnant I would have used it then and would that have helped then to prevent me getting them at all.i do wonder. This is also used for scars ,uneven skin tones ,ageing skin and dehydration like I mentioned.

I have a huge scar on my thigh from a drunken accident. I hated how big and purple and noticeable it was. Everyone talks about how Bio Oil works great for scars so I gave it a try. After 2 weeks I didn't notice any differences. It was hard to use and feel very heavy and gross. I changed to rosehip oil and my scar is disappearing as I type.
Ive used this during pregnancy and fif not reduce or prevent stretchmarks nore did it help after the stretchmarks to reduce colour. It is far too oily and clothes stick to it. I personally wouldnt recommend this.
Not for me. I found the product too oily even when I used only a little amount. I disliked the smell too. Found no difference in stretch marks or scars. I gave it to my work college who loves the stuff - different strokes for different folks I guess. I won't buy this again as there are other products I prefer.
I am slightly confused about this product! I'm confused at how many "bad" reviews there are but it is still a product that so many say is amazing. I used this during both of my pregnancies. My first one I thankfully didnt get any stretch marks - however I did from my second. I applied bio-oil after having my baby and it did absolutely nothing. My stretch marks are still there. I think the product is way overpriced as well. Also after a while the smell can be over powering, I also find it a little greasy. Would not buy again or recommend.
I used this on my stretch marks on my hips and legs. I did not find it very effective as it did not smooth them out nor fade them.
I was so excited when I heard about Bio Oil and absolutely couldn't wait to try it...but after about 3 months of using it as directed with little to no results I gave up. I was using it mainly to try and fade some acne scarring on my back and I had no visible results above natural fading just a lot of time spent feeling sticky...it is a very messy product to work with! Unfortunately though I'm still on the hunt for a scar product that works.
I have stretch marks on my inner thighs and even though they don't bother me too much, I'd prefer it if they disappeared. I tried regular massaging with this oil. IT DID NOTHING. I don't understand how it can claim to do the things it's supposed to do. If you're using this more as a moisturiser that's not too bad but there are plenty of other oils in the market now you can pick from.
I got this product for myself when my son was 3 years old, because of the stretch marks on my stomach and legs. I was excited to use this product as it had been, and still is, hyped up over commercials etc. I was highly disappointed. It comes in a plastic bottle that doesn't seem to hold the oil very well once the bottle has been opened the first time. The oil goes on your skin nicely but takes a long time to absorb, and the feeling of putting your clothes over it feels horrible. I used it for 3 months, didn't notice any change myself, so I would say it didn't work for me. Some people swear by this, so just because it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it may not work for you.
Bought this product a while ago at a beauty sale hoping it would do what it says and help with the appearance of my scars and stretch marks. I patiently applied this twice daily for about two months and unfortunately it was a disappointment because I had noticed no results with the appearance of my scars and stretch marks, still looked the same to me. However I did notice that it moisturised my skin really well and made my skin feel really soft. It worked well as a good moisturising oil but not as a product to help with fading scars and stretch marks. In my opinion, I think it was a waste of money and I will not be repurchasing this again.
