Bio Oil

I used this religiously while my body was growing through high school and after. It hasn't really done much at all. Yes stretch marks have toned down maybe 20% but they're definitely still there and I don't think it changed the condition of my skin or skin tone. I personally don't like how extremely greasy it is and its hard to fully work into the skin. Some people like the scent but Its not for me.

This has been raved about by a lot of people, but I'm sad to say that Bio Oil did nothing for me. I realise this isn't a 'miracle in a bottle', but I thought I'd notice a slight improvement in the appearance of my stretch marks. I'm glad to see that some reviewers below have experienced the same lack of results as I have. Will not be repurchasing Bio Oil.

I wouldn't use this product again, I tried it on stretch marks for quite a few months with no change. I feel like it just sits on top of the skin and doesn't soak in. After doing some research I found that it contains ingredients which aren't good for you so decided to stop using it.

I brought this after hearing all the hype reviews but for me Bio Oil didn't live up to expectations. The oil is very greasy and does not absorb into your skin leaving a oily residue on clothes. Although my scars didn't fade dramatically they did lighten up ever so slightly and the massaging helped with smoothing the raised scar but I think massaging with any oil would also do this.

I have acne scarring on my face and bought this product hoping that it might help reduce the appearance of scars. It is instructed that you use this product 3 times a day for a number of months for the best results. I found this product to be really oily and didn't sink into the skin at all. This meant that is was unwearable with any other type of product, especially any makeup - my temporary solution for covering up acne scars. I had heard from others that it had worked for them using it just once a day, only taking 6 weeks for results to show. So, i resorted to using it just once a day - at night - so that it wouldn't interfere with my everyday facial skin care. However i often found that an oily residue was left on my pillow as a result and my patience wore thin for this product.

This is such an over hyped product.every beauty magazine site, tv channel and beauty site have been raving this but honestly after 3 bottles I haven't seen any difference. Just a moisturizing oil and that is it.used during and after pregnancy so find the stretch mark prevention /fading a total fabrication and nothing more.i will not be buying this again

I used this on my stretchmarks also other dry areas of skin and while it was moisturizing I cant say there was any difference in appearence of stretchmarks or uneven skintone. It also doesnt smell very nice in my opinion. Just not realy my cupa tea so I wont be repurchasing.

I didn't like this product much at all. Didn't have luxurious packaging or feel and didn't live up to its advertising. Ok as a bath oil to use it up. But had a greasy feel on dry skin.

I brought Bio Oil because I have stretch marks but it was always so hard to try and use constantly to and never get a result. I think it smells great but im always waiting for it to absorb before i even consider to put my clothes on... So after giving up on trying to reduce my stretch marks, i ended up getting some moles removed and the wounds split when stitches came out, so thought 'Why not try Bio Oil again', you know give it a second chance. Well that was short lived it made my scars so itchy I had to stop using. So no results second time around.

I really didnt enjoy having oily skin when i applied it to my face and hips. Im a mother and it hasnt taken my stretch marks away. I wouldnt use it again!
