Bio Oil

I have heard so many great things about bio oil, it's supposed to do wonders! But I HATE it! I religiously applied it every day for over a year to a scar I had on my knee and it did absolutely nothing for me. Around 10 years later and the scar is still obvious!

In all fairness I did a mighty good job in skinning the whole top of my knee right down to the bone, so I shouldn't have been expecting a miracle, but with all of the hype I had heard, I had hope.

I wouldn't purchase again - it made NO difference

Used it through my pregnancy and helped my skin stay soft but didn't help with stretch marks! Lol also used as a face moistiser as i had uneven skin tone but didn't help there either, plus its quite pricey!

I REALLY wanted to love this product & the description & all the hype about it when I first heard of it quite a few years ago, had me picking it up at the first store I saw it in. I religiously used it on some stretch marks that were fairly new after giving birth to my 2nd son. I honestly did not find that it really made much of a difference. The only reason I gave it 2 stars when asked if I would recommend it is because I know we are all different including our skin, so it is a possibility that maybe it might work for someone else.

I bought a big bottle of this and used it as the instructions stated but after using the whole bottle I didn't see any results. I think regen oil has alot better results.

Used it continuously for about a year, barely saw any meaningful results for a scar that wasn't that old. It did make me break out if applied to my face, as the product is quite oily. The product does go along way, so no need to buy a huge bottle. It did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated, but didn't appear to fade my scar. Would not recommend to a friend.

I’ve bought the 200ml bottle in the past to help my dry skin and reduce the appearances of my stretch marks. It’s a see through bottle and the oil is a light peachy/orange colour.

I used it in my daily routine as I was eager to get rid of the stretch marks the most. The oil is very light weight and a little amount was enough to absorb into the skin quickly. After trying it for few months, there were no changes to my stretch marks, but it did help my dry skin.

I was very disappointed it didn't work since it was heavily advertised for stretch mark and that’s what I wanted gone. I wouldn’t at all recommend this product to try on stretch marks, but it’s great if you have dry skin.

I really did my best using this twice a day every day for 3 months for a scar on my arm. But it didn't seem to lessen or get better for me.

It is an old scar so I knew it will take time and patience. But it was hard to keep this routine. I do think that it's a really long time and a lot of effort put into this 3 months twice a day.. that's a lot of time to put into getting rid of scaring to only see no result :/ cool product just takes forever to work if it does work.

I read that they worked miracles on stretch marks and scars. I used it predominantly for scars and did nothing! except make my skin oily.

Oil consistency is great, but can get a bit greasy as it takes a bit longer to be absorbed into skin. I have used this for my stretchmarks after pregnancy. After 5 months of use have noticed a slight fading but not as much as I was hoping. It does say use it twice a day and as a busy mom of a newborn havent really followed thru. I think for this product to work, one has to definitely use it consistently twice a day and for a very long time.
