Bio Oil

Wanted to love this after all the claims it made about minimising scaring, but I used it religiously without seeing any remarkable difference. Wasn't to bad for helping with dryness, but stretch makes or scaring didn't touch it.

At first when i bought this a few years ago i loved it! I loved the smell, texture, glide, and afterfeel of this. I used it religously on scars and on my growing baby bump, but found during pregnancy that it would worsen the itchy skin so i switched to another product which was a lot nicer. I had already at that stage purchased the next 2x bottles; trying to be organised... they are still unopened. It is nice to add a few drops to a bath to soften the water but I couldn't use it daily like I was before. Doesn't improve skin texture nor reduce scars as it claims. I have since found a product that works wonders instead.

I personally have tried this product once when i just had stretch marks and then again when i was pregnant as i thought i would give it another go but sadly both times i saw no difference in the appearance of stretch marks or making my skin elastic...

I will probably not spend any money on this product again and would not recommend it to anyone either..

Its a very well known and advertised product but for me doesn't do it..

I have been using bio oil for uneven skin tone left by scarring on my arms and I think its working but definitely not as quickly/noticeably as i would have hoped for.

I admit I haven't been the best at applying it every single day but for the price and claims I would expect more from this oil. My skin tone has evened out a little bit but i'm not sure if this is just from natural healing or the oil itself.

I think to get really good results from this product you would need to apply consistently and spend a good time working it in.

Not a fan i have pretty bad stretch marks and in no way did i expect some sort of miracle but i just thought it would do something but nothing for me used it for quite awhile just became a waste of time and money

I have been applying Bio-oil to my scars and stretch marks but they havent shown any result. Its moisturising and relieves itchiness but does not remove scars. Disapointing.

I used this as soon as my scar healed from a knee reconstruction and they say this is best used with a fresh scar and sadly it didnt help at all for me so i dont use this anymore

I brought a small bottle of this because it was selling cheap as I have 'hole' scars all over the top of my forehead from acne. I used this every night after cleansing because it left my skin to oily for under make up etc. After a few months of use I gave up because it didn't make any difference to my scars. Friends and family have told me it's great but it just wasn't for me.

I had heard all the hype about Bio Oil so when I saw it at the Girls Day Out Expo and was a special deal to buy two bottles for a special price I was excited to get it and start using it on my stretch marks and a scar on my leg.

I didn't enjoy applying it, was really greasy and never felt like it was absorbed properly into the skin, kept at it for awhile but never saw any real results with it and gave up.

From talking to others the majority found they didn't get results either. The one or two who did actually wondered if it was more the massaging of the stretch marks that helped them fade away not the product itself. Unsure but this is one product I wouldn't use or buy again or recommend to others.
