As per most people, I bought this oil hoping it would live up to all the hype surrounding it. I was disapointed, though, I didn't like the smell of it, it was quite greasy, didn't absorb into my skin very well and I didn't notice much of a difference in my skin. I would recommend using rosehip oil instead of this.

Tips: If you are going to use this, use only a small amount, it takes a while to soak into your skin.
I personally have not had excellent results from bio oil, I noticed no actual change in my streak marks, this being said I have a close friend who is 7months pregnant, has used bio oil since she found out and has NO stretch marks to date.
Used this for months and just didnt see any results so gave up. Wouldn't bother trying it again unless a friend had seen serious results.
I did not really notice a difference. Any difference made could be natural healing or helped by me massaging it in and the resulting blood flow and circulation to that area. It did moisturise a bit but the sticky oily feeling and mess on my clothes is sadly not worth it for me.
I bought it and used it every day 2montha into pregnancy, I'm can't say if it helped preventing starch marks or not buy it hasn't helped at all making them fade. It smells great and is nice for dry skin but that's about it..
Really orange scented. Loved it on hands n face especially when mixed with creamy face or hand cream. Did do a thing for any scarring or discolouration even over long period
Tips: Oils are great but this has a lot of non good ingredients
I've used Bio Oil on and off for some years sometimes consistently for months and other times a few times a week. I mainly used it for uneven skin tone because I noticed parts of my face were darker than other areas but nothing like hyper pigmentation.
On my student budget back then it was expensive buying the 60ml for $20+ but I was sold on the ongoing advertisements. It comes in clear soft plastic packaging which allows you to pour out the product. I always felt the hole was a smidgen too big and a lot of the times I ended up pouring out too much and I'm not the type of person who likes to put the product back into the bottle once it has been exposed to air.
The fluid is an orange hue and smells like baby oil to me. Depending on how much you dispense it's not as runny as baby oil nor as greasy but still somewhat greasy where I have to wipe my hands down or wash them before touching anything that I don't want fingerprints on. It's only absorbed nicely into the skin if you really take the time to massage it in and there have been plenty of times where I just didn't have the time or I was too lazy to put in the effort.
After months of continual use I didn't see any major change in my skin tone other than having a smooth canvas each morning which I know I can achieve with plain jane moisturiser. This benefit however wasn't enough to justify repurchasing it after my last bottle.
regrettably it didnt work for me at all. i used it after pregnancy for my stretch marks but sadly not much difference. I had bought one and got another free (or half price??) cant remember now but i persevered through both bottles but while thy did make my skin feel moisturized and visibly hydrated (with an oily residue) and a mild pleasant smell... it did not reduce or improve the appearance of my stretch marks.
I tried using this on my stomach to help prevent stretch marks. I don't think it made much difference. I have since used it on scars with little success lightening them. I find the smell pleasant although a bit artificial. I often found the bottle sitting in a pool of oil after use, it would drip down the sides of the bottle from the top. This was pretty annoying. I now use aromatherapy oils with more success.
Tips: Wipe the top with a tissue after use.
It slightly reduced the appearance of my stretch marks but not by very much. I found this product very sticky and oily plus made wearing clothes after application very uncomfortable. On the plus side it has a nice scent to it. Not worth the amount spent
Tips: When using this product apply with enough time so it wont stick to clothing.
