Bio Oil

I am addicted to the smell of Bio Oil. Although it reduces the appearance of stretch marks, it doesnt make them disappear... which they never really will. My thighs have stretch marks on them and they have reduced them to white if I use this everyday. Otherwise they slowly change back to a pink/purple colour.

Although I do not use this to directly target a scar, I am a advocate for this wonderful product. I use it most nights before I go to bed by applying a two drops in the palm of my hands and then rubbing it over my face. At first I was hesitant as I thought it would make my skin more oily and cause me to breakout, but I always wake up with lovely clear calm skin. It works similarly to 'Rosehip Oil' and restores balance and helps with pigmentation. I sometimes use this on other areas of my body, rather than moisturizer, if I feel that my skin is dry and needs some TLC!

I was an awkwardly tall teenager growing up. 6ft tall and curvy with stretch marks coming out my ears from rapid growth so I spent alot of my time covering my body so the stretch marks couldn't be seen.

I never knew about Bio Oil until I was in to my 20s when my mama passed me a bottle for my birthday thinking it may help my self esteem if they were to fade a bit. I was in heaven after reading what it could do so of course I rubbed some on as soon as I opened it.

It's very oily but it's called Bio OIL so I knew what I was in for. It doesn't absorb in to the skin like I thought it would. It kind of just sits on the surface but of course I needed to give it a fair try because my self esteem is worth more than one go at it.

After three weeks of continuous use I noticed a definite improvement in the colour of my stretch marks and began gaining some confidence back. I continue to use it to this day and all through my pregnancy and am happy to report that my stretch marks are just white streaks now and not visible unless you look up close. My confidence is back in force and I am a true believer in Bio Oil!!!

Whatever it is they are putting into this oil...it works!

This vaguely medical looking little bottle of pale orange oil has fixed so many minor skin annoyances for me over the years. It's faded stretch marks, sped up healing of scratches, healed and faded old scars, rehydrated very dehydrated skin on feet/knees/elbows and lasted forever.

My very slight gripes with the product lie in the residue. Okay, it's an oil, but it does sit on the skin far longer than is convenient and I have had to remove oil stains from clothing because of this. I just use a towel under or something now. Also, the scent is a chemical, petrol-like smell that isn't unpleasant but is very strong. Neither of these put me off, and should not be taken as reasons not to use the product. It really does work - the hype is true.

This is a Beautiful oil that feels great on the skin. I purchased it initially due to the many raving reviews I had read and heard. Truthfully, I think I probably bought it for the wrong reason: I was trying to minimize red marks from acne- however this is an oil that is supposed to be for stretch marks. So I can give you one good tip: Do not apply to your face of you have sensitive skin prone to breakouts!!! It made me break out in little bumps all over my cheeks which then developed into acne after a couple of weeks.

So all in all, I would say it would be unfair to say that this oil does not work, as I don't frel I necessarily used it the way I should have. I would still recommend it because it smells so nice!

I loved using bio oil whilst pregnant, it felt amazing on my skin. Although it didn't prevent stretch marks completely it definitely helped & they're quite faded now so I'm happy with that.

I have to say after haveing 2 kids and the dreaded marks that come along with doing so i used this both times where pregnant and i had minimal maeks sooooo very happy and to top it off use is after and the ones i did get where allmost gone very happy as i get to get out the 2 pice when laying on the beach and feel amazing about myself ;-)

I have been using this product for 6 months now and I can say that I have seen a huge change in my the dark marks on my skin. Though the product works well, Its a little to greasy and takes a while to see any changes. I will still continue to use this product until I find something better.

I've been using this amazing product for a while now, an I hav to say the scar I had on my hand is now so light it's hardly noticeable. An when I don't hav a bad acne week, my face is smooth an old marks are slowly disappearing. Being a mummy now, I hav used this on my son's scar that he has on his leg. That 2 is slowly getting less noticeable, he is 11 months old. :) I feel so good knowing this product can actually do what they say it does, an would totally recommend it to others.
