Bio Oil

I brought a bottle off bio oil about three months ago. I have very large read scars on my legs, so had high hopes to at least minimize these. I first opened the bottle, I was taken back from the smell. It was so odd I can't begin to describe it. I used a small amount which went very far. To far I ended up getting it every where. After using twice a day for a few days I notices a red rash which got worse and worse. It was extremely sore and itchy. Despite this I kept using the product (I'm not one for wasting product or money). After a month I toke a photo to compare to my before photo. There was no change. So not only did I waste money, I wasted time.

I used Bio Oil on my stretch marks. It made no difference at all. I would not use this product again or recommend it.

Didn't really do anything for my skin. Certainly didn't help with pregnancy stretch marks! I didn't really like the oily feeling of it, or the smell either. Personally I don't really see what makes it so special at all.. Wouldn't recommend it.

Used this to try and combat acne scarring and stretch marks for a while. Discontinued use as I saw no results what so ever and it made me break out on the area I was using it on face. Perhaps this would work better as a preventative stretch mark treatment when pregnant, however for the price I'm sure there are better alternatives.

I tried using bio oil while pregnant with my first child. It didn't help AT ALL! im covered in stretch marks.. it didn't help prevent them or fade them. I didn't like the smell or the greasy oily feeling it left on me and my clothes and bedding. Will never use it again.

Perhaps its because Bio-Oil had such a public campaign, but like the general consensus on BR I was quite disappointed in this product! I bought this to try heal a scar on my stomach from a rejected naval piercing This oil is very slimy and incredibly hard to apply and as just ran everywhere (including staining clothes!). It also took a long time to soak in and left my skin uncomfortably oily (again rubbing ino clothes and bedding.) But worst of all I found it made 0 difference whatsoever to my scarring. I tried dialy for a few weeks and zilch. I really wish I would have checked BR before buying and not wasted my money! The bottle when straight in the bin

I used this everyday for quite some time & didnt notice any changes what so ever in my stretch marks/scars, I wouldn't Reccomend this product but It might do wonders for someone else you never know. But for the price I payed it deffinately wasn't worth the money.

I recently tried this, used the whole bottle religiously and saw no noticeable difference. Was pretty disappointed as everyone raves about it. Maybe its a works for some not for others product. But I wouldn't try it again.

I have been using Bio Oil for over a year due to this being the only product I knew of that was supposed to reduce stretch marks. My stretch marks are quite light due to getting a tad fatter going from a size ten to a twelve. I have only got stretch marks all over my hips and have found that this item doesn't help too fade or reduce them. I was using this product twice a day as advised. To be honest I wouldn't waste my money on this item as it is a waste of time.

I have attempted to use this product many times over the years. At first when puberty hit and I got awful stretch marks on my hips and legs and lastly with stretchmarks during and after pregnancy.

I find the packaging leaks very easily and many times I have had to clean up an oily mess in my bathroom cupboard!

After applying Bio Oil, it takes a REALLY long time to absorb and it leaves you feeling very oily. I wouldn't recommend this product if you enjoy feeling fresh and clean after a shower.

After a long period of using this product, I saw no difference. Once I had my daughter I battled to find time to even apply the product as it takes so long to absorb you cant get dressed.

I really wouldn't recommend this product. I thought because of it's price it would work, but it's really not worth it! :(
