After reading that dermatologists recommend this simple, cheap cleanser I thought it was worth a try, and it worked! It is gentle and does not flare up my acne as, as many other cleaners have. It leaves my skin feeling 'normal' and balanced. I now use this product everyday.

Tips: If you are like me and enjoy this cleanser, then I also reccomend trying the Cetaphil moisturisers. They are also just as gentle and non-irritating.
Ive been using Cetaphil for 3 months now and will continue to use it probably for the rest of my life. The first time i used it i felt like my skin was cleaner, and also it actually was good at removing my makeup which was a bonus for me as now i no longer have to buy makeup remover. The only downfall with the cleanser is ive found it makes my skin quite tight after using it, im not sure if its suppose to do that or if thats how my skin reacts to the product. All in all a great product to use.
I have been using the cetaphil brand since a child. I have sentive skin that easily tend to be dry at times. Cetaphil has help restored moisture into my skin And I do not have to add any other moisutrising products. I used a cetaphil gentle cleansing to clean my face and the effects leave my face soft.
I have very sensitive skin and so I am wary of trying new cleansers. However, Cetaphil is gentle, doesn't irritate the skin or eyes (it is really good at getting eye make up off too!) and it leaves skin feeling lovely and soft.
It is a product that I recommend (even for those with scaredy cat sensitive skin!)
Tips: You can use Cetaphil cleanser to wash away eye makeup (so no need to double up with an eye makeup remover!)
I use this product every day twice a day. I like that it doesn't have any fragrance to it and its not soapy. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and smooth. I really like this product.
I have used this along with the moisturiser for several years now and it is amazing, hands down the best cleanser I have ever used. It removes all oil, dirt and makeup but without over-drying or irritating my skin at all. I have normal/combination skin and this works perfectly on both dry and oily areas. I used this along with doxycycline a couple of years ago when I had quite bad acne and it cleared up super well. Really good value too, only $20 or so for a huge tub.
Tips: It can take a while to adjust from using harsher cleansers so this can initially leave your skin feeling a bit oily, but it should adjust quickly
I don't know why but I always use this not only to my face but whole body. Especially when I feel like my skin is very dry or when I have acne break outs. Maybe I'm too believing the word 'gentle'. But I still use this and still satisfied with the result.
Tips: It does not make bubbles when they are applied to the face. But don't think the product is wrong. It's on right track. Just smoothly cleanse face as you would normally do when you apply cleansing oil.
I really enjoy this product. I first tried this product when my eczema was at its worst. Any cleansers I used just seemed to aggravate my skin but this one didn't. My skin seams to be ok at the moment so I can use other brands but every so often I go back to it.
First impression was that it was so cheap, can it really work? Well in my case - yes it does!
I have always had problems with my skin. I've tried multiple cleansers and toners. Nothing worked! My skin would be dry and flaky some days and then oily and greasy the next!
This cleanser has really helped improve my complexion and is evening out my oil production over my face. I can say now that I have 0 pimples!! I never thought I would ever say that but here I am.
It has no smell and no taste (not that I have eaten it but the odd occasion it gets in my mouth) and I really believe that more people need to try this. It is cheap and readily available in supermarkets and pharmacies. Although more expensive in the latter. I love it! It is now my one and only cleanser for life.
I have really sensitive skin, and for the first time in my life had a flare up of eczema under and around my nose and on my chin. I was desperately trying anything to relieve this, it was red, itchy, painful and UGLY. I tried rosehip oil as a last result which did nothing, and then my mother suggested Cetaphil.
I was really apprehensive as it is super cheap and did not believe the 'every age, every stage, every day' slogan. How can what work for me work for a baby? I ended up buying a wee bottle at Farmers and all I can say is WOW. After the first use my skin felt soft and smooth and for once, my eczema stopped itching. I used it twice a day (along with Clarins toner and moisturiser) and within a few days the eczema cleared up and in a week was all gone. My skin was soft and smooth, and not at all dry or sensitive. I have been using this for about a month and a half now and i LOVE IT.
It does not foam but really works cleans and removes some makeup (often have to do around my eyes twice as i wear longwear makeup) and my skin does feel slightly oilier than it used to, but I have put that down to the drastic lack of harshness in my cleanser now.
Tips: Buy it from the supermarket on sale!
If you find your makeup is not coming off, cleanse again. This is gentle enough to cleanse twice without stripping your skin.
