I first tried Cetaphil as a poor student, years ago, and I remember texting everyone to rave about it, to the point where friends were asking if I was being paid to promote the stuff (which I wasn't). A few years down the track, and I'd tried many new things, discovering what worked best for my skin as I age.
Just recently, after investing in a sonic cleansing brush, I needed something basic, with no bells or whistles or beads or anything, to use with it. And something that was easy on the budget too, because that month was tight. I picked up a value pump bottle of cetaphil from Farmers, and rekindled my love affair with this product.
It's very mild and gentle, and leaves the skin smooth and free of residue. It removes sweat, oil and foundation, but not eye makeup (wasn't expecting it to though, use oil for that!) It's great value for money, and not overly scented; in fact it barely smells at all.
I love this cleanser I use it every single day and have so for a few years now. Was recommended by a friend. Very gentle on the skin and doesn't dry it out. I have normal to oily skin. You can use alone or with water. I've used it with an electric face brush and works well. You can also use it on your body, and can remove light makeup. It doesn't have a fragrance which I think is nice.
Tips: Best tip I can give is to add a small amount of baking soda once the cetaphil is in your hand, this acts as a gentle exfoliant.
