Dove Summer Glow Review

This moisturiser smells really good and goes on really nicely, however, I didn't find that I quite got the results I hoped for! It definitely did give me a slight bit of a tan, but it took quite some time! I did find that sometimes the tan would go a bit streaky, but it made me try to be more consistent with the application! It is an alright product for the price, but not 100% sure if I would use it again!

I bought this product one year ago and I am a loyal customer of this product! I must reveal I am quite tan myself however I use this 2-3 days in a row just before the day I wanna look super tan and it worked perfectly! However last summer I used it daily and by one week the fake-ish tan look was not noticeable. pretty good product, works subtly.

Im half and half with this product, i do quite like it however i did end up a little on the orange side and i definately do not like the smell of it! I also end up a little streaky sometimes as it is quite wet. I apply before bed and wake up with a tan, It lasts a good few days and i just reapply or build it up over 2-3 days to get a darker colour then just re-apply every 4-5 days or so to keep it up. Affordable but a tad too orange for my liking.

I use this product whenever I know I need to look tanned for something. I can get a really nice tan like I have been out in the sun for weeks in just days. I love how fast this gradual tanner works. The lotion is quite thick and does take a while to dry but I find has a nice fresh scent. I never get any uneven patches when I use this and I find it gives a very natural tan which I like. I found that even if I left a day without reapplying I wouldn't lose the tan straight away even after shaving.

I use this product on my arms and legs at the start of the season and then occasionally throughout the summer. I have found the best way to apply is to shower first, apply a moisturising lotion - wait 5 minutes - and then apply to the arms and legs and this helps prevent streaking and uneven patches. I am not so sure that I like the fragrance as to mee all self tan products tend to have a 'lasting' smell. It is definitely better than most, and if you use for a couple of days to give you a light tan it does not seem to go orange but rather a golden colour.

I'm someone who has fairly pale skin and a keen eye for anything orange. With my skin tone it didn't turn out as 'brown' as i would have hoped but it left my legs feeling really supple and hydrated (this is coming from one who deals with extremely dry legs 24/7!)

I like how you don't get streaks or tan lines, and you don't need to wait for it to dry. makes your skin feel good too, take a couple of days to build your tan though and you need to keep applying it everyday.

Sometimes when using this product its great and I look really nice and other I turn really orange! I use the same method and amount everytime so don't understand why this happens. Aside from that its a good product and smells AMAZING

I really enjoy using this product - it smells nice, is easy to apply, soaks in and leaves your skin feeling moisturised as well as tanned. Doesn't leave stains on your hands and doesnt leave streaks - a really nice natural colour and even result. The only thing I find a drawback is it does tend to leave darker results on dry or thick areas of skin - such as knees, toe knuckles, and heels/ankles. Make sure you use a good exfoliator and deep moisturiser before hand to prep these areas.

Used the light colour on my Scottish, white skin...Gives a nice natural colour when used every day.. Drawback is that still has a funny smell tho!!
