A good gradual tanner and moisturiser. It doesn't hugely tan for me but it does accentuate my tan and gives a glow.

I used this product to put a bit of colour in my legs before I went into hospital, just to make me feel a bit better! Worked really well, and after only 2 nights of application. I only wanted a slight tan, so this was great for me.
Tips: Still make sure you wash your hands well afterwards, although it's not as strong as normal tan, it still can leave you with brown hands. Same goes for making sure it is rubbed in well around ankles, toes, heels and knees.
This product gives the glow it says for sure! For me the medium to dark only really works in winter, however in summer I find it works to even out any tan lines!
I brought this lotion a couple of years ago, when I was at high school and also every now and then. When I first heard of this tanning lotion I was in love. Okay it did gradually tan but the lotion smelt weird. It didn't have a any yummy dove scent. The dove tan lotion gives you a great gradual glow or tan. This may be good for after you tan with a mousse or spray.
This is great for pale people who want that extra glow to their skin, however it's not for me. I prefer tanning products that work instantly. That way it's easy to make sure that your tan is streak free.. with this it isn't. This also smells incredibly gross. I wouldn't repurchase this but I would recommend for people just wanting a subtle glow and don't mind that it's not instant.
Tips: Add layers to make the tan more obvious. Make sure you apply in even strokes so you do not leave your tan streaky.
I hate hate hate the smell of this. If only it smelt good or had no smell at all that would be good. The smell seems to linger and stick and the next day you can still distinctly smell it. I find that after applying it, not immediately but the next day I seem to have patches which are off coloured compared to the rest of my skin, maybe I am not applying it properly and that I need to apply it more evenly. I like that it is a gradual tanner and that it slowly builds up your tan- it is good if you are not in a rush for a tan and it can be used over a long period in time until you get the perfect tan that you are looking for. It is good for it's price but I don't not think that I will buy it again as I am not a big fan and I can sometimes get very impatient.
Tips: If you are looking for a quick tan, this isn't for you!
This is one of the best gradual tanners in terms of smell and colour - gives a nice natural looking golden colour without turning orange or smelling like a fake tanner (as is my experience with other gradual tanning lotions). One point lost though due to this product making me all itchy unless I keep it to the leg's area only - not suprising though as usually I don't react well to Dove products. As I am very pale one application of this in the fair shade at bed-time has the same effect as a normal self tanner lotion on me so it is definitely potent stuff!
Tips: If the smell of these types of products annoys you try using right before bed then shower in the morning.
I really like Dove summer glow, it is a great product for a GRADUAL tan. I think that it is important that people realize it is suppose to be gradual. There are a few things I dislike about this product though. 1st of all the smell...uugghh not very pleasant at all. It has that chemically tanned smell that actually lasts quite a while. 2nd thing I dislike is the texture, its really thick so takes ages to dry. 3rd thing I dont really like is the bottle/packaging. When stored upside-down its really wobbly. But on a good note I find the actual colour to be great. I apply it every other day and its great for keeping a spray-tan moisturised and looking fresh. The price is perfect for this product, its not the bee's knees but its pretty good.
Tips: EXFOLIATE! and dont use too much as you can go orange.
This lotion was nice and hydrating, the gradual tan was also quite subtle and nice, but I cannot get past the awful smell!! It's fine when you apply, but the next day it's like this weird B.O smell. I've tried a couple of different tanning moisturisers and they do seem to smell this way. I don't get that with my sugar baby, so I'll stick with that. I'd rather have a separate moisturiser which I don't need to rinse off my hands.
I have been using this for a long time now and find it to be a nice gradual tan. I really don’t love the smell of it for some reason but this doesn’t stop me from using it. Works well when you use often and builds a nice tan. It’s a good price and it’s my go to tanning product.
Tips: I put on a normal moisturiser first (garnier works well) usually just around knees, elbows and hands to avoid tan building up in drier areas and to do my hands I mix some in with a little handcream. Exfoliate before tanning to get rid of dead skin.
