Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunscreen Spray 85+

Now I'll confess that I get sucked into big numbers and fancy ingredients when it comes to sunscreens. My old cancer society sunscreen didnt really do the job and Ive been on the hunt for a new one for quite a while now. Someone actually recommended this to me and when I saw it on sale I thought id give it a try. The spray formula is relatively nongreasy although i was concerned by how thin it felt. I have been wearing double coats simply because I have very easy to burn, fair,sensitive skin. I have been using this daily for just over a week now and in the past two days of blazing sun here in Christchurch I havent gotten burnt! Im so happy that the high spf is actually working and providinf a high level of protection. I dont mind the smell I think its very bearable although my friend did tell me I smelled like sunscreen. I'm not sure how water restistant it is but I did sweat a fair bit yesterday and I reapplied after every hour.

Usually I pick this product up from Farmers when I have reward points to use as it is quite expensive, around the $25 mark. For me despite the price this product is a must have. Right now I have two of them as I always need a back-up. I am incredibly pale and seem to burn just thinking of the sun.

I find the packaging of this excellent a metal long tube with a spray nozzle. The cap twists so it can be locked so pressing down doesn't make the product come out. The cap doesn't turn easily so you can rest assured that you aren't going to find the product accidentally sprayed over everything else in your bag.

The application of this product is very easy. You can just spray it all over your skin and rub in the excess. I love that this makes spraying in usually hard to reach places incredibly easy, eg over the back of your arms, legs, neck etc. It does warn not to spray in your face as you might breath in the fine particles. Usually for my face I carry another type of suncreen but if I haven't I spray this liberally into my hands and pat it into my skin instead. I do find this best to spray outside, if you apply inside it can leave a residue particularly on tile floors which isn't that great.

I find the product non-greasy and doesn't leave a residue at all which is lovely. I also haven't had it effect my sensitive skin.

The sun protection on this is great. I have never been burnt while using this. But in saying that I always reapply often.

I love this sun screen. It is so easy to use, just spray all over. It doesn't feel like you have any sunscreen on as it is so fine but it works well. It is non greasy and I've had no reaction with my sensitive skin. It isn't cheap but well worth the extra cash. I love that you can spray on either wet or dry skin, very handy when coming out the sea. I use this all the time through the summer. There is no battle getting kids to put on sun block as it is so quick to do.

I used this sunscreen last summer myself and on my 2 children. The bottle is sturdy and easy to find in your beach nag because its bright. The spray nozel stayed in tact the entire use of the bottle.

The sunscreen does come out of the nozzle well and has a good range, It appeared to cut through the water and we did not get sunburnt while using. Did not feel greasy on and was colourless. When you apply the sunscreen there is a smell thats seems to be to do with the spray which is quite strong.

This did not last very long for the price so not great value for money

This product was recently put to the test. While holidaying in Hawaii two weeks ago and experiencing up to 37 degree heat I applied this every morning. No burning. For someone such as myself that burns, freckles and then peels I was so pleased by the protection offered by this product. So I returned from holiday with a healthy glow but no sunburn, yipee

This is great as you get that safe barrier immediately after the water, which is a real danger zone, especially with kids. It's easy to apply, although I have had the nozzles spray a little less effectively over time, and you do go through it quite quickly, as it's such a fine mist you are never sure if you are completely covered. The other reservation I have is a personal one- prefer less chemical products, but still use this intermittently for the ease and convenience factors with busy little ones in the summer months! Pluses- super easy to apply and non greasy, it's very pleasant to wear.

Having a product that you can apply it on wet or dry skin is amazing and just makes life easier. Love how its also sweat resistant is a bonus. Non greasy formula, pleasant scent and soaks into skin quickly and easy to apply (especially to kids always on the go) and very good price for a great product.

This was an absolute necessity for going to Rarotonga - I spent much of my time in the water or damp from the humidity, so this was a lifesaver.

The easy to use spray never got blocked, allowed me tonot have to worry about being completely dry before re-applying after swimming and prevented me from burning while I told myself that I would just dry off for 10 mins in the sun and then apply my sunscreen!

This was also really good for rapid targeted application, which is great when wrestling with an 18mth old tolddler to get sunscreen applied.

The formula is not overly greasy like other sunscreens and didn't have an overpowering smell.

Absolutely recommend this product, especially for those who have little ones and don't have much time for application prior to the wriggling starting, or those going into warmer climates where you will be swimming or perspiring a lot.

This produced works very well as I'm fair and burn easy. This sunscreen spray thingy, creates an even consistent layer, so it is easy rub in. It lasted me about a 2 months (with use about 4 times a week). It has a oil consistency's but once absorbed is less noticeable, so make sure to at least lightly rub in

I'm a bog fan of nuetrogena's spray on sunscreens - even though they don't go far for the hefty price tag, but this one was a let down. The idea of a sunscreen you could use while wet sounded great and I thought it was going well until I realised later that I had sunburn! Wont be using this one again.
