In my quest to find the ultimate holy grail self tan I've tried most of them on the market. I have very pale skin, so in the summer months I love to have a golden (fake) tan.
I can't say this is a favourite of mine. Even though I prepped perfectly, exfoliation and moisturised the day before as usual, this formula ended up patchy and slightly streaky around my ankles.
The colour was okay, but tended to look slightly orange In comparison to the normal fake tan I use. I prefer a deep, bronze look -which this didnt achieve.
A positive of this self tan is the smell, which smells much better than normal self tans. This smells very coconutty and pleasant. I'm a fan of anything that smells like coconut!
Overall, I was rather disappointed with this self tan and would not repurchase.
There are certainly much better self tans on the market!
I was hopeful being a gel this would be much easier to apply than sprays or foams. I was wrong.... it's a messy flip top bottle, which the product seems to leak out of. I followed the instructions religiously, and used the Le Tan application mitt - however the colour was more yellow/orange than bronze and streaked on my legs. Only plus was I managed to get this for about $12 on sale at the Warehouse.
Tips: I've had better results from other tans and wouldn't be rushing out to buy again. The Le Tan mitt which is sold alongside these products is great!!!
