Linden Leaves Body Oil (all varieties) Review

First up I love a body oil as a change to a regular body moisturiser especially as the weather gets colder as the oil tends to be closer to your body temperature.

The variety I have is lavender and it even has a cute little dried flower stem inserted into the 60ml bottle. The overall scent is pretty subtle - you definitely get lavender but I can smell a lot of the sweet almond oil too. It glides on nicely and fairly thick for an oil so you really get that deep moisturising feeling as the oil sinks in to your skin.

Because I don’t use this everyday I can’t comment on whether it reduces stretch marks or not like the bottle claims. I may or may not buy again as the scent really isn’t strong enough for me and I’m addicted to Lush products that really intensely fragrance your whole body.

My mum has a full size rose one - I have just read that they all contain rose oil but mums has a rose plant in it. I have tried it a few times on my face neck and the dry cracked heels of my feet with pleasing results and relaxation before bed. I enjoy the scent and it actually made me want to buy a good quality rose oil or perfume. She let me decanter some into a little container but most of it leaked next to my bed on my dresser sadly. I really enjoyed the scent untill I realised the dry down remaining scent smells like that old fashioned makeup smell - you know it's like that old baby powder type of heavy smell that is put into very cheap makeup that you get from $2 shops and stuff? I didn't notice it untill it had leaked out into the things on my dresser because it's a nice good quality old fashioned rose smell otherwise. As for moisturizer it's very good and feels luxurious. I recommend it for an older lady it's nostalgic and good quality.

I was lucky enough to get this in a gift box and boy did it not disappoint! Mine had a small rose in the oil giving it the perfect scent , i applied after a shower and honestly my skin loved it !

My Body soaked up that oil so nicely! often I feel like oils just become a layer on my skin, and my skin doesn't absorb it.. but this is just wow my skin just loved it, I even enjoyed applying it!

this oil wasn't sticky and annoying, it was really nice, it made me fall in love with Body oils! I think only Linden Leaves Body Oil is the best I believe. Oh, I want more!

Memories smell like Rose Water in a bottle, so elegant and refreshing on a beautiful summer's day.

This is a beautiful and sumptuous body oil My favourite is the rose variant. Its smooth and so fragrant. I've used it as a body oil, hair oil to beat frizzies and in the shower. I think I'm on my third bottle now! I really love that there are no nasties in this product ❤ the oil absorbs really well too.

I have the one with roses inside, so pretty. Looks highend expensive. Something I wouldn't usually buy as I try not spend too much on one product. I purchased the 250ml on special,i don't think I would buy it at $59.99 though. Love the natural smell. I apply right after a shower and it also helps to relax. A little goes a long way, absorbs quickly so can be a little harder to blend in areas. Love that the smell lasts a long time on my skin.

A lovely smelling oil. Probably not something that I would remember to use but really lovely. I'm always impressed by linden leaves and this was no exception. The oil absorbed well, left a delicate lovely smell and looked good on the skin. The only thing that I would think could be a problem is that I would use more oil than I would use a moisturiser I would think as it just sinks in so quickly.

I got one of these in one of the BBBE boxes last year (sorry I can't remember which one) and was super excited when I saw this brand as I had tried their miraculous facial oil beforehand and loved it.

The presentation of the bottle is simple but yet so pretty and definitely stands out because of the large piece of lemon in it. I love anything lemon so was hoping it would have a strong scent. It definitely did not disappoint. If you love lemon scents you really need to get this oil as it is heavenly.

Unfortunately the bottle lid is a screw top with a plastic round piece with a small hole on the top of the bottle making you have to shake it a few times to get the product out. I think a pump top would work so much better.

The formula is really nice too, not watery or thin, I would say it has more a medium consistency but it is not thick like some body oils can be. It is nice and smooth and leaves your skin feeling really soft, hydrated and has a nice sheen to it without leaving a greasy feeling.

I did only give it 4 stars though as the scent does not last long which is a shame otherwise it would have got the full 5 stars from me.

I got this in the BBBE Beauty-Full Christmas Box last year and have used it a handful of times in the last couple of weeks. It comes in a nice box decorated with what appears to be lemon. It has a clear panel where you can clearly see the oil with the lemon wedge? in it.

I have used this a couple of times as a out of shower moisturiser (at night) and also a massage oil. Have used over two thirds of it so far and imagine I will finish it in the next couple of weeks. Absorbs well into the skin, has a sheen finish. Does have a citrus scent. I wouldn't associate it with the title "Pick Me Up", i personally finding it relaxing. I didn't notice any reduction to scars or stretch marks but maybe that is because I haven't been using it long enough.

This is a luxe product to me, something that I buy as a gift but not something I would purchase for myself. Also 60ml for the $29.99 price point, I just wouldn't spend this much on it. Would happily use another body oil at a fraction of the cost.
