If I am getting a gift for someone from Lush and I don't know if they have a bath, I usually get a chunk of this and a couple of other things. This is an inoffensive fresh bright citrus most people can get along with. For me personally as a citrus fiend I prefer the scent of Sandstone but don't love that the sand can't be sliced off the top anymore to avoid sand in your shower if you don't want it. So that's what makes this a better gift option. Some people I gifted to find it a bit drying but they said they also find bar soap generally to be drying so no surprise. I liked to use this in the morning, it's a nice wake up scent.

Tips: Do not leave any Lush soaps sitting in a solid soap dish unless you want to waste a bunch of money making sloppy goo.
I love Lush soaps and have used many of them. This one has a nice fresh lemon scent and is a solid bar. It leaves my skin feeling nice and clean and isn't drying. I found this soap didn't lather up much at all which is the reason I probably wouldn't get it again. It's a nice Lush product and has a great scent but I like ones that lather more. I still have the association that soap needs to be bubbly. There's many other Lush soaps that are my faves that I will be sticking to.
Tips: Cut your Lush soaps into smaller bits and take one into the shower at a time to reduce wastage.
Lush's Bohemian Soap would be one of what I consider Lush's classic soaps. I cannot imagine Lush not having this soap.
It is a citrus soap, but quite gentle in it's scent. It's described as a simple clean soap and it really is, lemon oil is pretty much the only scent making it a simple clean scent and of course it is a well cleaning soap. Interestingly I don't find it as lemony smelling a sexy peel, I'm not sure why.
This soap cleans the body gently and is gender neutral in a pale yellow lemon scent so anyone can use it.
I recommend it.
I usually treat myself to a few Lush gift packs each year, and have received a couple that include this soap. The bar itself has a great fresh citrus-y scent (slightly sweet but not sickly), and the pale yellow colour of the bar itself is nice and 'clean' looking. Unlike some Lush shower products, the scent wasn't overpowering, and while it made the bathroom smell nice it didn't leave an overly noticeable scent on my skin. Since it isn't creamy, it left me with that almost 'too' squeaky feeling that traditional soaps often leave. However, that wasn't anything that applying moisturiser post shower couldn't fix.
One bar lasted me a good couple of months of alternating between the soap and a shower gel, and since I kept it in a sealed soap container it did become a bit soft, but it didn't become gluggy. Definitely a great scent for the warmer months, and although I don't tend to buy Lush soaps on their own, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a gift pack that includes this soap again.
I got this given as a gift for my birthday last year, and although I don't often use bar soaps (I prefer liquid) I thought I would give this a go. My favourite thing about this soap is the smell. It has a lovely fresh and zingy scent. Lemony citrus is definitely the main smell.
In terms of the actual soap, it cleans your body well and removes dirt. However I found this bar soap to be a bit drying on the skin, which is what I find with most bar soaps. It almost cleaned my skin too well and gave it a "squeaky clean" feeling. I would definitely recommend following with a body moisturiser after your shower/bath.
The colour of this soap is a dreamy pale yellow colour. It Has a "hand made", melted honey comb sort of look which I love. There are pale white bubbles floating through the soap showing the hand made effect. My bar is about 100g I think which actually lasts ages. I don't use mine everyday but I would say that this whole bar would last around 3-4 months. I did find that the top of my soap started going soft when left inside a soap box, so I would recommend to leave the soap box lid open to air the soap.
Overall this soap was ok, but I would not be purchasing it again and I am not converted to bar soaps yet.
Tips: Follow with a body moisturiser
I was lucky enough to get this as a birthday present from one of my family. They know that citrus smells are my one true love besides sweet perfumes. There is something about the scent of lemon or lime. It puckers my face momentarily but after the tang passes I am amongst a citrus orchard in bliss!
It has an appearance that isn't very savory but it doesn't take away from how amazing the soap actually is. I am not usually a soap user but there is something about the Lush Bohemian Soap that has me coming back time and time again. I love how rustic they appear. They are sent in a random shape after being cut from a huge chunk to measure up to the 100g size. It gives my shower soap dish a little touch of something different.
It lathers up very easily which is what I love in a soap. I love bubbles so this is a sure way to my heart. There are two things that confirmed the 3 star rating for performance. The first thing I dislike about the soap is that it leaves my body very squeaky and dry which means I have to moisturize head to toe after use. The second thing is it develops a film of goo over the top which isn't pleasant feeling. I tend to need to wash it off every time I use it. It's just lucky that I adore the scent on my body so I am prepared to take these measures in order to keep using it.
The price is more than I would like to pay for a soap but Lush is my life and alot of their products are worth going back for despite the inflated price. I am stuck on buying from Lush because it promises cruelty free, and natural. All things I love so I am happy to continue buying this. It's worth my time and money!
Tips: Rinse off goo every use so it doesn't slip out of your fingers.
I got this soap for my husband as he loves the Baked Alaska lush soap but it is limited edition and they didn't have it so I got this lemony soap as a substitute. It just doesn't compare. The scent is weak and the soap goes all water logged and sloppy very quickly. It was disappointing as all the other Lush soaps I have chosen have been awesome- this one just didn't last very long and seemed substandard really, a soggy mess. I won't be getting it again.
I was gifted this an extra by a good friend and member of BR, I wanted to try this one so I was really happy she gifted it to me. I loved that she took note of how I like to use products that are sulfate-free and this soap has no sulfates in it. I has a nice fresh lemony citrus scent which I like go for the morning but also great at night. This soap didn't dry my skin out either. It lathers reasonably well and is good with a shower puff. It is a good soap I probably wouldn't repurchase it because Lush has so many options and I'd like to try more. It doesn't scent the skin but then a lot of soaps don't but it does leave you nice an clean.
Tips: Use with a shower puff if you want more lather.
Don't let looks deceive you, although this soap resembles a solid chunk of partially cooked scrambled eggs and is a little less appealing than a lot of other Lush soaps it's scent is to die for! It packs a zesty punch which is a perfect shower partner in the morning when I really need to wake up and feel refreshed for the day ahead. This suds up nicely on my exfoliating gloves and leaves my skin less stripped of its natural oils than some generic soap brands sometimes can plus it's lemony scent lingers on my skin for a few hours afterwards, it's like a gift that keeps on giving. My one downside is this particular soap seems to soften and melt away faster than others but in saying that a chunk still does last me a while.
I received this has a Christmas present. I found it to be decent side for a soap and I immediately fell in love with the scent.
It has a strong refreshing and delicious lemon scent. The texture is solid, but soft and delicate to the touch. It lathers well with water and my body felt moisturised while leaving a very light hint of lemon scent on the skin.
Like all of their soaps, it’s best to keep it in a dry spot after use otherwise it will disintegrate and loose its longevity. That’s the only thing I don’t like about Lush soaps, because sometimes I forget to take it out of the shower.
Tips: Keep in a dry place after every use otherwise it will melt away.
